Rydel's P.O.V
Okay, so tonight is mine and Leon's date. I am so excited. Ross and Laura have been trying to stop me. But the truth is, I believe Leon has changed. He seemed like he was truly sorry. And, who hasn't heard of second chances?
He's my first ever boyfriend. If i'm lucky enough, I might get my first kiss tonight. Leon is a really cute guy. His amazing brown hair, his sparkling blue eyes. He's perfect.
I was doing my makeup in the mirror when Laura walked in. "Hey Del" She smiled. "Oh hey" I replied with a light smile. Putting on mascara.
"Hey so listen, tonight is your first date right?" She asked, sitting on the edge of my bed. I looked at her with a confused nod. "Yeah.. I've been talking about it all the time" "Oh.. well, Rydel. I know you don't wanna hear this but we don't want you getting hurt, Leon's not a good guy" She said. I sighed. I've had enough. "You guys just don't like anything good happening to me, this is my first boyfriend. I'm happy. Why cant people just be happy for us?" I shouted.
She stayed silent for a moment. "But he and Ross hate eachothers guts, Rydel. What if Leon hurts you?" She asked. I shrugged. "I doubt that will happen. Look, I know what Leon did and I know he and Ross hate eachother, but he's changed. And I believe him. Now excuse me" I said, grabbing my jacket and purse, I got up and left my room.
I went downstairs when Ratliff approached me. "Oh hey" He grinned. I smiled. "Hey dude" "So uh, you and Leon are a thing?" He asked, folding his arms. "Yep. Why?" I asked. "Oh erm, no reason" He scratched the back of his head. "Just wondered, that's all" He added. "You're acting really strange. Are you okay?" I asked. He nodded. "Yeah, I, I'm super. Never been better" He said quickly. "Right, well.. I gotta go, I don't wanna be late" I smiled, I went to leave but Ratliff grabbed my wrist.
I quickly looked at him. "What now?" I laughed. He looked straight into my eyes. "Just don't let him hurt you" He said gently. His eyes are gorgeous now that I really look. What Rydel?!? I quickly shook out of it. "I uh, don't worry. I wont. He wont hurt me" I smiled. He looked at me with his kind, he looked serious.
"I mean it Rydel. I don't want anything happening to you. Call me if there's a problem" He said. I nodded. This wasn't like Ratliff. "I will. I promise" I smiled. I stayed silent for a second. "Well, I have to go" I said softly, gently removing my arm from his grip. "I'll be back by ten" I said and then left.
Ross's P.O.V
I went upstairs to see Laura sat on my bed. I sat down next to her. "How'd it go?" I asked. She sighed. "Rydel didn't change her mind. She's gone, she just left, literally a few seconds ago. Why wont she believe us, Ross?!" She asked. "I don't know. But let's go and observe. Like hide and watch everything. Leon's not a good guy" I suggested. "I don't know Ross. Rydel seemed pretty convinced that he's a good guy. If she see's us, she'll kill us"
"You're right. I just, I don't want her hurt. Let's just wait five minutes until she's there and then we'll go see. I really don't trust Leon" I said. She nodded. I pulled her in for a hug.
Laura and I waited ten minutes, then left to go find Rydel. "Hey, where you going?" Ratliff asked, worried. "Going to keep an eye on Rydel's date. Leon's not a good guy, Ell" I said. He nodded. "I'm coming" He said. "Okay" Laura smiled and we all headed out.
Rydel's P.O.V
"Leon?" I said, looking around. We was at the park, and it was kind of dark, dark enough that I could only see outlines of figures and the park. Suddenly, three figures approached me.
"Hey pretty lady" Leon smirked. "Leon!" I smiled. "Who are these?" I asked, looking at the two dudes either side of him.
"Oh these two? This is Oliver and Simon. My best pals" He smirked. "Oh.. so what are we gonna do?" I asked, getting a bit nervous.
"We? More like what are you gonna do" He said. "What are you talking about? I thought this was a date" I said. He chuckled. "A date? Rydel, I lied. I need you to do something for me" He smirked. "Like what?" I asked. My voice was getting a bit shaky.
He grabbed my wrist. "You need to break Ross and Laura up. That smoking babe will be mine again" He laughed. "I- I cant" I said. He looked at me in dis-belief. "Rydel, it wasn't really a choice, darling" He chuckled. "Well, I said no. I can't believe I fell for you. I cant believe I fell for this. You really are a jerk, Leon" I said and went to walk away but Oliver and Simon grabbed me so I couldn't move.
"Get off!" I yelled. "Rydel, we'll do this the easy way, or the hard way, now, are you going to break them up or am I gonna have to do something to you?" He smirked. I stayed silent for a moment.
Laura's P.O.V
Ross, Ratliff and I were walking towards the park when we heard shouting. "No!" we heard. "Ross, did you hear that?" I asked, worried. "Yeah, it's Rydel!" Ratliff shouted, we all started running towards the park. When we got there, we saw two guys tightly holding Rydel and we saw Leon, throwing himself onto her.

Ross then fully legged it over to them, so did Ratliff. Ross and Ratliff started beating them up. Simon ran away and left Oliver and Leon to get beaten up.
"Rydel?" I yelled and ran over to her and pulled her in for a tight hug. She cried into my shoulder. "Are you okay?" I asked. She cried even harder. I hugged her tighter and rubbed her back.
The boys finally let them run away. Ross and Ratliff were angrier than anything. I've never seen them like this. "Rydel" Ross hurried over and hugged her. "Ross, thankyou so much" She cried into his shoulder. "Rydel, I told you to call me if there was a problem" Ratliff said gently. She ran to Ratliff and jumped into his arms. He picked her up and hugged her tightly back. "I tried but they, they took my phone" She cried. Ratliff almost cried himself. "I love you so much" He said.
We all went silent. Ross pulled me in for a tight hug. "I feel so bad" I said. "Laur, it wasn't your fault. I'm just glad she's alright" He smiled and kissed me gently. "Did Ratliff just say he loved Rydel?" I asked. He nodded. "I'd rather Rydel date our band mate slash brother instead of some jerk like Leon" He said.
"I love you too" Rydel finally spoke up. Ratliff looked down to her as she looked up. They both looked into eachothers eyes. "Thankyou for being there for me Ell" She smiled. "It's my job to protect the ones I love" He smiled back. A few quiet seconds passed and then Rydel and Ratliff finally kissed.
Ross and I laughed and cheered. "Ross, I've never seen you that angry before" I said gently. "Well, that's what will happen if Leon ever tried to come onto you or my baby sister" He smiled. I giggled. "But Rydel's older than--" "You know what I mean" He shouted with a laugh. I laughed aswell and he spun me around and kissed me.
So I tried to get a bit of Rydellington in this chapter. Because they're adorable. I wonder what will happen next haha, if you have any ideas, write them below and i'll try and add some in the next chapter. And this isn't the last time we'll be seeing Leon.
