Ross's P.O.V
It was a week later, and I was packing for Australia. Riker and I still haven't spoken. He's never gonna speak to me again
But great news, Laura's allowed to come with us. I'm so excited. Having my fiancé come with is will be amazing.
She walked into my room after taking a shower. "I'm gonna have to go home soon too pack" She smiled, shoving her damp hair up into a messy bun. The way I like it.
"I'll come with if you want?" I offered, packing clothes. She shook her head. "No, it's fine. You have a lot to do here" She walked over to her clothes and grabbed them. "Im gonna go and get dressed" She added and left the room. I sighed and threw a bunch of T-Shirts into my suitcase when Rocky walked in.
"Ever heard of knock?" I asked. He chuckled. "What's up with you, bro?" He said. I sighed. "Nothing. Just annoyed that Riker still wont speak to me" I spoke up. "Well, dude, you did like, attack him" He laughed. I glared at him. "Sorry" He mumbled. "Yeah I know but I had a good reason. Can't you try and talk to him?" I asked, hoping he'd say yes. "I can try but Riker's not all that easy to talk to when he's stressed out" He warned. I nodded. "Thanks, dude" I said and gave him a bro-fist punch.
He grinned and left the room. I continued packing. Laura came back in and smiled at me. "I'm gonna go now, baby" she said. I nodded. "Okay" I stood up and kissed her. "I'll be back in a bit" she grinned and left.
Laura's P.O.V
I'm so excited to be going to Australia. But the thing that's bugged me is we're going to Sydney. Which is Maia's hometown. Which mean's she'll be there.
But I've got nothing to worry about, right? Ross doesn't like her one bit in that way.
I walked into my house and my mom was shouting at my dad. I slowly walked in there. "What's going on?" I asked, trying not to sound worried. My mom sighed and looked at me. "Your dad's job is being transferred to London" She blurted out. My eyes widened. "London?!" I shouted. They nodded. "And he's decided to take it. Which means you have to leave your career behind and start fresh as, well a nobody" She said, angrily. "Mom, go and calm down" I suggested. She took a deep breath and walked into the kitchen.
"Dad? We cant move to London. I can't move to London" I said, a bit angry. "I'm sorry pumpkin, but this opportunity is too good to pass by. I have to take this" He said. "But, what about my career? Austin & Ally? I am not leaving all of this behind!" I yelled. "I know that you're stressed. But after a few hours, you'll be fine" He said, about to walk off. "So that's it? You're just gonna drag me away? From my home? My friends? My career? My life!?" I shouted. He took a deep breath. "Laura, I am not gonna argue. We've made the decision, and that's that!" I rolled my eyes and went to walk off.
"Don't use that attitude with me, misses. You're lucky we're letting you go to Australia with that boyfriend of yours" He sighed. "That boyfriend of mine has a name" I bluntly replied back, glaring at him. "And he's ruined your life! If you had never met him, you wouldn't have a care in the world about moving to London!" He yelled in my face. "I can't believe you. You're meant to support me. Do you not give a shit about my career?!" I argued. He glared at me. "Don't you dare use that language towards me, young lady" He said. I sighed and went upstairs to pack.
I am not moving to London. No way. He can't make me. Even mom doesn't want to go.
I opened my suitcase and threw in a bunch of clothes, shoes and perfumes and all the other essentials I need. I quickly zipped it up and headed downstairs. I went to leave. "So you're just gonna leave without saying goodbye?" My mother asked. I sighed and hugged her. "I'm only going for a week, mom. Not forever" I said. She nodded. "I know but my baby is going off on her own" She smiled. "Call me when you land!" She said. I nodded.
