Laura's P.O.V
It's been three days since Ross and the others left for Paris. Ross has called me everyday so far. I miss him so much. I need him back.
All I've been doing since they left is sitting on the sofa, watching movies and eating Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough ice cream. Because it's Ross's favourite too.
Vanessa has tried to get me to be sociable and visit our grandparents but I refused. I've been in my pyjama's for three whole days too.
"Laura" Vanessa groaned and walked into the living room. "Come on, take a shower and get dressed" She demanded. "What?" I asked. She grabbed the remote and switched the TV off. "I called Raini and us three are going on a girly day out and we're having a slumber party later, you're not getting out of this!" She said, folding her arms.
I groaned. "What's the point? I cant be happy without Ross" I sighed. "Yes, you can. And you will!" She said and pulled me up by my arm. "I got some nice clothes from your closet and set them on your bed, take a shower and get ready, Raini will be here soon!" She said. I sighed again and headed upstairs.
I have no energy whatsoever. It was about half an hour later and I was in the mirror, doing my hair. Now that I've taken a shower after having three days of no motivation, I feel more fresher. I was straightening it when Raini walked in. "Hey girl!" She grinned. "Hi Raini" I smiled.
"Are you still depressed about Ross leaving for a week?" She asked. "Yeah. I just need him back already" I said, un-plugging my hair straighteners.
"Aw, Laur. But we're gonna take your mind off of things. We're gonna get our nails done, we're gonna buy lots of clothes, it's gonna be awesome" She smiled. I smiled. "I love you and Nessa so much!" I giggled and hugged her. She laughed and we both went downstairs.
"Finally, Laura, you look nicer" Vanessa joked. I rolled my eyes and grabbed my purse. Vanessa and Raini left the house first and I came out, locking the door behind me. I got into the car after them and Vanessa drove to the mall.
She parked up and we got out. The mall isn't very busy today, which is a good thing because I don't wanna be queueing for hours.
We headed inside the mall. We were walking through when we passed a bunch of boys, all our age. Vanessa flashed a flirty smile at one of them. I just kept my head down. I want Ross. I need Ross. Raini smiled at a guy too.
Vanessa nudged me. "Live a little, wave to a guy" She smiled. I shook my head. "No!" I yelled and walked off into Forever 21. I saw this gorgeous yellow dress. Yellow is Ross's favourite colour. So i'm gonna buy it.
"Laur" Vanessa came after me. "What's wrong?" She asked. "You know what's wrong. I don't want any other guy, i'm still with Ross. I love Ross" I blurted out. I went to pay for the dress. The cashier put it in the bag and I gave her the money.
"Come on, nail time!" Raini yelled. We all cheered, which caused a few heads to turn. We all turned red and laughed. We headed to the Nail Salon.
On our way there, I bumped into someone. "Oh, sorry, I didn't--" I looked up to see Leon. "Going somewhere?" He smirked. I rolled my eyes and went to walk away, Vanessa and Raini had already gone inside. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. "What do you want?!" I asked, trying to wiggle my wrist free.
"You, obviously" He laughed. "Well, you're not gonna get me. Because Ross already has me. Just leave me alone" I said. He gripped my wrist tighter. "Ow!" I shouted. "Oops, am I hurting you?" He smirked. "No, I love it" I sarcastically replied back and yanked my wrist out of his tight grip. "I never did and I never will love you, Leon. Just get a life and stop bugging me, are you really that desperate?" I shouted, I went to walk away.
"I wouldn't talk to me like that if I were you" He smirked. I turned around. "What do you mean?" I asked, folding my arms. "I can do something to Ross" He chuckled. "Yeah? You wouldn't dare. Ross has a lot of siblings that could really hurt you Leon. Don't try anything" I bluntly replied back and headed into the nail salon.
"Where were you?" Vanessa asked. Not taking her eyes off her nails. "Just uh, bumped into um, and old friend" I fake smiled. I had to lie or Vanessa would go off on one and probably beat him up. She's that protective of me. "Oh, right, okay" She said. I sighed and sat down. The lady came over and asked what design I wanted. I chose the yellow nails with the white daisies. It was so cute. She began painting my nails.
An hour passed and our nails were done. We were all fascinating over eachothers nails, saying how cute they were. We decided to get some lunch, so we headed to the food court and ordered pizza. The pizza here is amazing. Especially the deep dish one.
We all tucked into our pizza. Time passed and we'd been shopping, messed around, giggled and before we knew it, it was 7pm. Oh no, Ross would be calling anytime soon, he always calls before a show and that show is tonight. "Guys, we have to go" I quickly said, rushing off.
They agreed and we all got in the car and Vanessa drove home. We got to our house and got out of the car. I stood there in utter shock. "V-V-Vanessa" I said, scared. There was spray paint on our front door.
'I'll get him, just watch"
"What the heck?! Who's him?! Who wrote this?!" She shouted. She was getting really angry. Raini tried to control her from losing her mind. "Calm down, Nessa!" She said.
The paint was slowly dripping off, splattering the floor. "I know who did this! Why cant he just leave me alone?!" I started to get worried. What if Leon hurts Ross when he gets back. What if he tries to get me. What if-- I was cut off by Vanessa's loud shouting.
"Who did this, Laura?!" She shouted. I sighed. "My ex boyfriend.." I said. She looked confused as anything. "Who's he talking about?" She asked. I looked at her. "Ross. He's planning to get Ross because he wants me back!" I started to get worried and started to tear up. "Ness, what if he hurts Ross?!" She tried to comfort me. "It's okay baby sis. He wont touch Ross. Or you, he'll have to get through us, Right Rain?" She looked at Raini. Raini smirked and nodded.
"Leon's a jerk. It'd be easier if he just fled the country" She sighed. We entered our house and I ran straight to my phone. 5 missed calls. I looked at the time. 7:23pm. Ugh, it'll be 4:23am over there. I'll try anyway.
I phoned him back. "Hello?" I heard him yawn. "Oh, Ross?!" I smiled. "Sorry, did I wake you?" "No, I was already awake. I can't sleep. Pumped for the show tomorrow, well today" He chuckled. "Awesome.. Listen, can I talk to you?" I asked. "Obviously" He laughed. I giggled. "Well, i'm really worried about something.." I said gently. I knew he was getting worried. "Are you okay?!" He asked.
"Yeah.. it's just.. I'm worried about you.." I said. "What do you mean? I'm fine" He said, confused. "No, I mean when you get back" I sighed. "Why? What's happened?" He asked. "Leon happened" I said. Getting angry at the whole situation. I knew he was getting angry. "What's happened with Leon?!" He asked. "He's threatened me" I said. Trying not to cry. "What?! Are you okay babe?!" He asked. "Yeah. I'm fine..--" "Has he hurt you?!" He interrupted. "No, well not really anyway. He said he's gonna do something to you because he wants me, I'm so sorry. This is all my fault" I said. "No. No this isn't all your fault. Leon isn't gonna do anything to me. Or you, I promise!" He reassured me. That made me feel a little safer.
"Okay. Look, you should get some rest. I'll phone you tomorrow?" I asked. "Sure" He said. "I love you so much and I miss you" He added. "I miss you and I love you too" I smiled. "Bye, babe" He said and hung up. I sighed and put my phone down.
