Ross's P.O.V
Laura was still fast asleep, so I took the red, velvet box out of my drawer and opened it. The gorgeous silver ring, coated with light, sparkling diamonds. Laura will love it. I just hope she says yes.
I've already planned when i'm gonna tell her. We're gonna go on a date tonight. Along with Rydel and Ratliff.
He's determined that he's spending the rest of his life with my sister. I'm glad it's him with Rydel though and not some stranger. I hope Rydel says yes too.
I smiled at Laura and put the ring back. She opened her eyes. "Morning, baby" I grinned. She smiled lightly. "Morning" she said, in her tired voice. I jumped onto the bed next to her and put my arms around her and kissed her cheek. "What's planned for today then?" She asked. I shrugged. "A date" I smiled. She smiled too and kissed me. "Can't wait"
We were already up and dressed. We went downstairs and everyone was eating breakfast. "Oh, don't mind us" I sarcastically said and sat down with Laura. We both grabbed some pancakes. I decorated smiley faces on mine. Using whipped cream, strawberries and chocolate sauce.
Laura laughed at me. "What?" I said. "Nothing. You're adorable" She smirked. I squirted whipped cream on her nose. She laughed. "How do I look?" She joked, looking at everyone at the table who was laughing.
Riker was sat there, not eating. "What's up with Riker?" She whispered to Rocky. "I don't know, Ever since Ross and he had that fight, he hasn't eaten, he just wants to sleep all the time" He replied. Laura looked at Riker and then back at her food.
"Are you alright?" I asked her. She nodded gently. "I just need to go to the bathroom" She said and walked out of the room.
Laura's P.O.V
I went to go in but I felt someone grab me. It was Riker. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Laura, I like you. Just tell me if you have feelings for me" He demanded. I shook my head. "Riker, i'm sorry. I just don't like you that way. You're just a friend. A good friend. And that's all you'll ever be" I said. Then Ross came over. He must've heard the whole conversation. "Come on, babe" He said and grabbed my hand and pulled me away.
Riker came back in with his head down. "Riker, why don't you go upstairs?" Stormie suggested. Riker just sighed and left.
"Mom, is this my fault?" Ross asked. "No, baby. Riker just needs some time. That little fight you guys had has gotten to him. Because he likes Laura and you're dating her and he's just confused, I guess" She replied. "I just, I didn't mean to attack him but he kissed my girlfriend!" He said, a little louder. "We know, and you had a right to be mad at him. He did something unforgivable. But if you feel you should forgive him, that's up to you, but one day, you'll make up, you have to anyway because you're going to Australia soon" She said and walked into the kitchen.
Ross sighed.
It was about 8pm. And it was time for mine and Ross's date. Im so excited. I cant contain my excitement. Because it's basically another double date because Ell and Rydel are coming.
That makes it even more of a party. We're going to another posh, fancy restaurant tonight. And I've got so many dresses, the hardest part is choosing which one. Rydel and I were getting ready in her room and Ross and Ratliff were getting changed in their own rooms.
"What do you think of this, Delly?" I asked, holding up a black, leather dress. She gazed in awe. "Laur, that is frickin' beautiful" "Yay!" I squealed and put it on. Squeezing into it was tough but once it was on, it was beautiful.
Rydel was searching through her dresses and came across a gorgeous, ruby-red dress. It was quite tight fitting. So i'm sure Ell will love it. "This?" She asked, twirling. "Girl, work that" I joked. We both laughed. It was makeup time. Rydel added some mascara and some eyeliner, with some blush, foundation and lipstick.
