Laura's P.O.V
Our kiss lasted a long time, Ross went to take my jacket off but I pulled away. He looked at me, confused. "Ross.." I gently said. "Yeah?" He asked. "I don't think i'm ready yet" I sighed. He smiled softly and jumped off of me.
"Sorry" I added. He took my hands in his. "Don't worry. I want to be the first when you are ready though" He smirked. I laughed. "Don't worry. You will" He smiled and we both went to sleep.
I woke up and turned to Ross who was softly snoring. He looks so darn cute when he's sleeping.
I nudged him gently. No response. I nudged him again. No response. I kissed him gently and suddenly his eyes opened. "You're like Snow White" I joked. He raised his eyebrows. "Excuse me? Calling me a girl now?" He smirked. I laughed. "Maybe" I poked my tongue out and ran into the bathroom to put in my contact lenses.
He ran after me but I shut the door. "Ha-Ha" I called. I could hear him leaning against the door. "I'll get you, Marano" He said. I giggled lightly.
I waited about five minutes, deciding if I should open the door or not. Suddenly, I heard Ratliff call my name from outside the door. "Laura?" He shouted. I heard small chuckles but it was probably coming from somewhere else.
I slowly opened the door and walked out then Ross jumped me and picked me up. I screamed. Ross burst out laughing and so did Ratliff. "Thanks a lot Ratliff!" I shouted. He laughed and waved at me. "You're welcome" He grinned.
"Ross, why do you keep picking me up over your shoulder?! You know I hate this!" I screamed, but I couldn't help but laugh.
Ross chuckled too. "That's why I do it. To get you to listen" He smirked. He suddenly stopped and looked at me. He had his thinking face on. "What are you doing?" I laughed. "Say sorry for calling me a girl" He smiled. "Hm.. no" I said. "You asked for it" He grinned and started tickling me. Under the armpits and on my sides. I literally couldn't breathe. I was spluttering for air. "Okay, okay!" I said inbetween laughs. "Sorry for calling you a girl" I said, out of breath. He smiled. "Better" He smirked and put me down.
He kissed me gently and we headed downstairs to the others.
Ross's P.O.V
I looked at the clock, it was almost 8pm. Which is good, because we're having a game night tonight. Laura and I were sat in the living room with Rydel, Ratliff, Rocky and Riker. We were waiting on Ryland, my mom and my dad.
We usually do karaoke, play board games, play fun games like Twister and stuff, eat junk food and drink soft drinks and after all of that, we sit and watch a movie, then go to bed. It usually finishes around 1am.
It's so fun. And it's gonna be even more fun with Laura. She'll love it.
Stormie, Mark and Ryland walked in. "Finally" Rocky shouted. They all sat down and joined us. "So, what do we play first?" Rydel asked, searching through the pile of board games. "How about karaoke?" Ryland suggested. "Are you sure, bro?" Riker chuckled. Ryland rolled his eyes. Ratliff jumped up. "I'm up for karaoke!" He shouted. We all burst out laughing.
"It's only two-player so who's gonna go first?" Stormie asked whilst Mark was plugging in the microphones.
"What about mom and dad?" Rydel smirked. "No!!" Mark shouted. Stormie laughed. "Sweetie, we're not singing" She said. Rydel laughed. "Fine, me and Ratliff" She suggested and pulled him up. They both grabbed a mic. "What shall we sing?" He asked. Rydel looked through the songs then smiled. "Rolling In The Deep by Adele" She smiled big. "Oh no" Ratliff joked. She hit him playfully and the song begun.
They both started singing, and in the chorus, Ratliff kept messing up, which caused us all to cry with laughter. The song ended and they were both out of breath, they walked over and sat on the sofa. We all clapped. They started laughing. "Okay.. Rocky and Riker!" I shouted. Riker looked at me then at Rocky, then they both got up and grabbed a mic. "We'll sing.. Everybody Talks by Neon Tree's!" Riker shouted. Rocky laughed and they both started singing.
About half an hour later, we'd all sung a song each. Even mom and dad had a go at one.
We were about to play Twister. Stormie set up the mat and Mark was in control of the spinner. "Okay, first four to play can be Ross, Laura, Rocky and Riker" He said. We all jumped up. "Okay, right foot, yellow!" He shouted. We all put our right feet on the colour yellow.
"Left arm, green!" He called. We all put our left arm on green. My face was near Rocky's butt. "Dude, don't fart!" I warned him. He chuckled. "Right arm, blue!" He said. We were all tangled up by this point. "I cant hold it any longer!" Laura shouted. Everyone laughed. "I'm gonna fall!" Riker yelled. "Left foot, red" He said.
We went to move but all collapsed in a heap on the floor. We all cried with laughter. "Rocky, you're squishing my leg!" Laura called, laughing. "Sorry, Riker's squishing me!" He replied. Riker slowly got off of Rocky and we all sat back on the couch.
Laura and I were sat eating food whilst the others had a go at Twister. Next was my mom, Ratliff, Rydel and Ryland.
Laura and I were eating popcorn. "Ross, this is so fun" She said with a grin. "I know" I replied. We sat watching the others make a fool of themselves.
It was about 11:30am and we were all ready to watch a movie. "What do you wanna watch?" Stormie asked. We all agreed on Woman In Black. Shit. I'm so scared of this movie but I have to watch it. I looked to Laura who was ready and waiting.
The movie started playing and it was halfway through, near the scariest part. Laura jumped practically into my lap. I laughed. "Are you alright?" I asked. "No way. This movie is frickin' scary!" She said. I put my arms around her and pulled her into my chest. She rested her head on my shoulder and fell asleep.
So about the start, with the love stuff, some people said no and a few said yes, so I decided not to do one of those chapters yet.
