Ross's P.O.V
I walked in to Laura about to cut herself. "Laura!" I yelled, and ran over just before she managed too. I grabbed the blade and threw it outside. "What the heck are you doing?!?!" I asked her, pulling her into a hug. She was crying so hard.
"Babe." I pulled away and cupped her face in my hands. She looked at me, tears rolling from her cheeks. "What happened? What's this about?" I asked her. "Ross, I'm scared." She cried, i pulled her back into my chest. "What's wrong?" I asked her, kissing her head. "Leon." She blurted out, then cried even more.
"What? What happened?! He's in jail, right?!" I asked, pulling away and shooting a serious look at her. She shook her head. "No, he's coming out tomorrow.. i.." She went to finish. "Laura." I said firmly. "His friends.. who.. who raped Rydel.. came to me in the alley when i was walking home.." She stopped herself and wiped tears away, even though they kept coming back. I grabbed her hands tight. "They told me that Leon's planning to get me and he will get me. They kissed my neck and took my shirt, i--" She cut herself off, crying harder into my arms. That made a tear shed from my eye too.
I quickly wiped it away and hugged her tight. We hugged for a few more minutes when i finally pulled away. "Go and get something on, you must be freezing." I told her softly. She nodded and i could see a small bruise appearing on her neck. The fucking dickheads. She walked out of the bathroom and accross the hall to our room. I heard her getting the clothes from the wardrobe and heard Marie chattering to herself in her room.
I sighed deeply and joined Laura and we went to sleep in eachothers arms.
Laura's P.O.V
I got woken up by my phone going off. I looked at the time. 5:43am. Ugh, what is with me lately? I grabbed my phone to see a text message. What the heck? Who'd be texting me at almost 6 in the morning.
It was from an unknown number, i got a little scared then i opened it.
'Can't wait to see you again, baby. It's been a while. Bet you've missed me ;)'
I froze, i slowly took a deep breath and placed my phone on the side. I turned to see Ross looking at me. "Who was it?" He asked, in his groggy, morning voice. "I- I think it was Leon." I said, really scared. "How the hell does he have your number?!" He asked. I shrugged. "Ross, I'm really scared. He's out today. Who knows what he could do?! To me or to you?! Or Marie!" I was getting myself worked up. He pulled me into his arms. "Baby, that won't happen. I wont ever let that happen to you, or Marie." He promised. He made me feel so safe.
We got up and got dressed. I fed Marie and bathed her, and she was quietly playing on her playmat. Ross and I had breakfast and we had to go grocery shopping today.
So we got Marie and headed to the supermarket. "Ugh, do we have to?" Ross whined. I laughed. "Yes." We got into the car and drove to the supermarket.
We shopped for ages and we had a whole trolley full. I really wasn't expecting that much to be honest, but Ross got like five bags of M&M's. We went to the checkout and the cashier scanned our items, It took a while. "Oh, Ross. Carry on packing, I've forgot baby wipes." I said, quickly rushing back into the store.
I went to the baby isle and grabbed four packets of baby wipes, i was in a rush because I had the credit card and Ross wouldn't be able to pay yet. I dropped one on the floor, I bent down to pick it up when a hand shot in and grabbed it. "Oh, thankyou." I say quickly, i take the wipes and move my hair out of my face only to see the person I thought I wouldnt see again. I turned around and ran back to the checkout. "I'll want you and I'll get you!" He shouted after me.
I ignored his dark words and acted like nothing was bothering me. "Here." I handed the wipes to the cashier and she scanned them. We payed for our groceries and then left.
"Why were you running?" Ross asked me, as we were getting into the car. "What? I wasn't running." I said, slightly too fast. I shoved on my seatbelt. "Laura. Tell me." He demanded. I took a deep breath. "I saw Leon, Ross.." I shouted, a tear falling from my eye.
"He was in there?!" He yelled, about to get out of the car. I grabbed his arm. "No, Ross. Please, don't do anything. Don't go in there!" I told him. "Why?! He shouldn't be anywhere near you!" He shouted back, he opened the door and went to climb out. "Ross! You can't do anything because you'll get in trouble! Please!" I shouted, it must've got to him because he climbed back into the car.
"Calm down. Please." I begged. He looked at me. "Laur, he can't just turn up like this, he shouldn't even be out, who know what he's capable of doing now!" He said, still quite loud. "I know and I love you for caring, but i don't want anything happening to you. He's not worthit." I smiled softly. I kissed him and we drove home.
I got inside and un-loaded the shopping when my phone went off. I thought it was Raini because i texted her earlier on, so i opened the message and i froze.
'That was rude what you did at the supermarket earlier. Baby, I missed you and you looked as sexy as anything. Oh, and you better keep watch. Something could happen to Ross and you'll be all mine ;) I love you more than you could imagine.'
I threw my phone. "Woah, what's up?" Ross asked, i pointed to the phone and he read the message. His face grew of anger and he threw the phone and headed out the door. "Ross?! Where are you going?!?" I shouted after him. He ignored me and slammed the door.
A tear fell off my cheek.
