J A Y D E

I woke up feeling like shit like I had the past few weeks but today was worse. I felt week and had a churning feeling in my stomach.

I got up and brushed my teeth putting my hair in a lose bun I walked into the living room seeing Sammie on the couch playing 2k. His birthday was today and he had spent the night after we spent the entire day together yesterday. I even took him to get a tattoo since he had been begging for one for a while. We were gonna have a little get together at Taj's house today.

"Goodmorning." I said kissing his cheek.

"Happy birthday your 18 now you grown boy." I said tugging on his curls.

"Thanks Jayde. You gonna cook a real nigga some breakfast?" He said cheesing and I straight faced him.

"Watch your mouth." I laughed going into the kitchen taking out pancake mix, eggs, bacon and grits.

I had cooked the pancakes and once I began to cook the eggs my stomach turned causing me to run to the bathroom letting out and empty stomach.

"Jayde?!" Sammie said with worry as he pulled my hair back. Once I was finished he gave me one more worried look before leaving the bathroom letting me freshen up.

When I was done I walked back into the living room seeing Sammie on the couch eating pancakes.

"You couldn't wait I was gonna make the rest."

"Nah I'm good and you ain't in no condition to be making nobody food." I rolled my eyes and walked into the kitchen cleaning up as he followed me.

"You good?" I looked at him and nodded.

"I don't know what happened but I'll be alright." He nodded dumping his plate and putting it in the sink.

"I'll clean up go take a nap and get some rest before we gotta go." I nodded and walked up to him to kiss his cheek but he dodged me.

"Why won't you take my kisses?" I said frowning and he gave me a stank face.

"Not with your throw up mouth."

"I brushed my teeth dumbass."

"I'm not taking no chances." He said and I rolled my eyes forcing his face to my lips and kissing his cheek.

"Just nasty." He said in disgust and I laughed going back to my room to take a nap.

"You got all your stuff?" I asked Sammie as we walked out the house.

After my nap I didn't feel 100% better but I didn't feel as bad as this morning.

"Yea I'm straight Come on." He said as I locked up and we took the elevator down stairs and got in the car.

"Jayde."

"Wassup?" I said pulling out of the parking lot.

"Uhh I invited this girl to come chill with us tonight." My eyes widened as I smiled trying to look at Sammie and the road.

"You like her?"

"Yea I mean she cool." I pouted becoming emotional because my little brother was growing up.

"You about to cry Jayde?!" He said looking at me like I was crazy and I nodded still pouting.

"Your just getting so big." He rolled his eyes laughing.
