Im giving you another chance. Don't try me, you hear me? Or that's your ass.
***Masiah
It's been a month since Jayde left the hospital. The cameras didn't pick up anything but I came to the realization that Jayde was back to her old childish ways and if my son wasn't involved I'd say fuck her but I can't. I wanted my son she could have the rest of that shit but for now? I had business to take care of.
Every month Jodi and I would meet up at our warehouse everyday for 2 weeks and handle business and it was that time of the month to get shit done. I even had Sammy helping me. I didn't want him to but he says he needed the money so I asked no questions.
"You hear from my cousin?" Jodi says coming into the my office in the warehouse and I shook my head.
"You know how she is. I don't know why we didn't predict this shit." He shook his head rubbing his hand through his hair.
"Man what if something is wrong real shit. I can't live knowing some fucked up shit about to happen."
"It won't. You and Sammie need to stop stressing the shit you know Jayde."
"Fuck all that past shit. Her being gone don't fucking bother you? Her being gone with your son at that. And Ciara. Ciara been Mia for some weeks. Think man." I looked up at him. He was right.
"We'll look into the shit. Just handle one situation at a time."
"Yea whatever."
***I sat in Ciara's room rocking Alijah. I was hungry and I couldn't get Alijah to stop crying. Jodi and his Terrance had been keeping Ciara and I locked away in this room as some type of punishment and would only feed us once a day. I breast fed Alijah as much as I could for as long as I could but I could feel my body getting weak.
"We gotta do something Jayde." Ciara said on her back on the floor staring at the ceiling. This was what she had been doing for a while.
"Let's do it." I said coming to the conclusion that either me or my baby could die if we stay. Ciara too.
"Really?" She said sitting up letting a tear fall down her face. I nodded.
"Elijah can't be here though. We gotta find a way to get him away."
"I have an idea."
"Shoot."
"They always leave in the morning. They leave together too. Terrance leaves his car. We can leave then." I shook my head and bit my lip.
"The security will be out there. I see them come in the morning from the window. They'll catch us before we can get away."
"Then we kill them like they would kill us if they had to." I sighed and looked down.
"I don't wanna die Ciara." I said beginning to cry and she quickly came to me wrapping her arms around me.
"You won't. Me you and Elijah will be fine we just have to play it smart. Be strong for us." I nodded and she wiped my tears.
"You have to make him trust you though. Feel him up a little. Make him think you want him." I shook my head and she shook hers quickly.
"You have to Jayde. So go down there and make him think he can trust you. We need clothes and more food if we're gonna be able to pull this shit off Jayde trust me." I sighed and nodded handing Elijah to her.
I stood up and walked out the room and downstairs to Jodi and Terrance sitting on the couch.
"Jodi." I whispered causing both of them to snap their heads toward me.
"Didn't I tell you stay your ass in the room?" He said standing up coming towards me but I out my hand up.
"Wait! I wanna talk to you." He stopped scrunching up his face and I looked at Terrance.
"Alone." Terrance sucked his teeth getting comfortable on the couch and Jodi hesitantly looked back at him.
"Alone nigga." He said and Terrance rolled his eyes standing up and walking to another part of the house.
"Can we sit?" I said and he shook his head.
"Nah wassup?"
"I wanna say I'm sorry." He chuckled like he knew what I was doing but I wasn't about to cut my act.
"Don't try to play me Alijah. You hear me?" He said grabbing my chin roughly making me groan.
"I'm not Jodi. I'm sorry." He looked at me for a while before slowly moving his hand.
"For what."
"For not holding you down like I should've. For fucking around with Masiah. All that." He scoffed.
"You tryna play me?"
"No baby. I realized I was dumb. I want you." He nodded pulling out his phone and handing it to me.
"Call that nigga and tell him what you just told me."
"Huh?" I said playing stupid knowing I didn't wanna do that.
"You heard me. Call that nigga and tell him you fucking with me and you not his bitch no more." He said sternly and without hesitation I dialed his number. I could've pretended like I didn't know it but I had to make him believe me somehow.
"Who this?" Masiah answered sounding stressed and I almost cried at the sound of his voice. The voice who said he'd protect me and that put me to sleep every night.
"Masiah." I said as loudly as I could.
"Jayde? Jayde where you at man you got niggas out here going crazy. You good? My son good?" Jodi chuckled and I sighed knowing I had to continue.
"I can't be with you no more Masiah."
"Jayde stop playing where you at?"
"No I'm serious Masiah. I can't do it anymore. I'm taking my son." Silence took over the phone and my heart broke knowing I was hurting him.
"Why? Where this coming from?" Jodi looked at me and mouthed 'tell him'.
"I'm with Jodi now." I said before Jodi took the phone and hung up.
"So you for real?" I nodded and he smiled pecking my lip.
"Im giving you another chance. Don't try me, you hear me? Or that's your ass." I nodded before slowly turning around and walking back upstairs.
"How'd it go."
"Good...we gotta hurry up and go through with this plan."
Before Masiah hated me forever...
