This
Is my escape
This sound
Going through my ears

This makes me feel better
Not completely
And not all the time
But it does

These beats
These cords
These voices
They make me happy

Without this
I'd be drowning even more

Without this
I'd be dying every day
Over and over again

This is my savior

This saves me
This makes me keep going

The words
The verses
The lyrics
The choruses
They make me happy

They tell me I'm not alone
They tell me it's okay to be upset
They tell me to stay strong

High pitched
Low pitched
It doesn't matter

The notes and cords
The harmony
The melody
Make me happy

This sound
Whether it's soft and slow
Or loud and fast
It makes me happy

This is my hope
My strength
My world
My heart
My soul

This makes me happy

Words cannot describe
How this makes me feel

It makes me smile uncontrollably
Sing undoubtedly
Dance undeniably
And most of all
It makes me more happy
Than anything else

This makes me happy
More than anything else

Without it
I'd be in agony
Dying a thousand deaths
Over and over again

Without this
I wouldn't be strong enough to keep going

Without this
I'd be more alone than I already am

This makes me feel less alone

This makes me feel loved

This makes me feel cared for

This makes me happy

I wrote this while I was listening to BVB and ETF. I was about to go to sleep, when I had this inspiration. I wanted to write, but I didn't know what about. Reverse The Curse by ETF came on and I wrote the first line. Before I knew it, I had this.
