Together

When you told me
I was surprised
I thought you were happy
But I guess it came back

When you told me
I was upset
But the thing is
We're in this together

It came back for you
But it never left me
And now that we have each other
Well defeat it together

Nothing can break us apart
Nothing can stop us
From coming together and overcoming this obstacle

No one can keep us away
From each other
Distance can't tell us to stay
Away forever

One day we'll meet
And it'll be the best day of my life
And until then
We're in this together

One day we'll hug
We'll kiss and we'll cry
One day we'll fall asleep
In each other's arms

But until that day comes
I will help you

I'll help you through this terrible thing
I'll help you through your unfortunate problems
I'll help you through
Everything life throws

Because in the end
I have you
And you have me

And we're in this together

I wrote this about the same person I always write about. And I'm so sorry that I keep writing about the same persons guys, but I need him to know that I'm here. I need him to know that I care, and I'll never give up on us. I'll try to write an actual poem tomorrow that isn't about this person, but idk if I'll be able to. I'm sorry. I understand f you gust wanna stop reading my poems and voting for them, but honestly, this isn't for you guys. It's for me. It's my outlet. It's easier than talking to someone face to face. I'm sorry, but it's for me. And I will continue to post what I need to to make myself feel the tiniest bit better about myself and Angel.

Angel, I will always be here. No matter how long it takes, I will help you overcome your depression just as you're helping me overcome mine. We're here for each other. No matter how long we have to wait, I'll find a way for us to be together. I'll find a way for us to meet sooner than my parents say. I'll find a way. Just know, I will. And we're in this together. Always and forever. I love you.💖❤️
