CHAPTER THIRTEEN <3
It's scary how one photo could ruin a relationship.
I was thinking about this as we were walking back home. I made sure that when we crossed the road, we were at least a metre apart, so he couldn't spontaneously grab my hand again. Unfortunately, Justin seemed to realise that I was keeping my distance.
He looked at me funny. “What's the matter Ash, do I smell bad or something?” He began to sniff his armpits, making me giggle.
“No, no. Far from it actually. But it's just..” I pause. “Well, people have been taking photos of us together and it's just making me a bit uncomfortable, knowing that there's someone out there, watching us. And it's going to make Austin unhappy aswell.”
“Oh yeah, I got shown the picture.” He looks over his shoulder, as if to see if anyone was there.
“What are you-”
He pulls me into a big bear hug. I squirm.
“Justin! People will see!”
He just laughs into my hair. “Chill out Yeti, I checked. Just don't worry about the paparazzi. As long as we know what's the truth, it doesn't matter.”
I break free from him. “Hmm, sure.” And ran ahead of him.
“Hey!” He started to sprint towards me, arms outstretched and an evil expression on his face. This definitely meant trouble.
Within minutes, we were able to reach the drive of his grandparents house. I wasn't surprised how quick we got there though, since I ran for my life away from him, making sure he didn't lock me into his hug again. By this time, we're both breathless.
“And the Paparazzi Busters strike again!” Justin punches the air. I roll my eyes.
“Not really. They still have that picture of you and me holding hands that'll probably be posted all over the internet by tonight.” I raked a shaky hand through my hair.
“Well like I said, we all know the truth so screw them. Now I'm going off to the gym with Chaz and Ryan. You coming?”
I smirk. “You? The gym? Really?”
He grins back. “Of course babe. Gotta keep my rock hard abs there you see.” He pulls up his t-shirt to reveal his faint six pack. I splutter.
“Yeah, I don't think you can call that 'rock hard'. Have a nice time at the gym, I think i'll be staying here. Can I borrow your laptop?”
“It totally is! I will, and sure.” He swings open the front door, rushing into his room. He returns in his complete gym gear before giving me a nod and walking back down the street.
“Bye then..” I murmur.
In his room, Justin's shiny red laptop awaits. It gleams in the sunlight, almost persuading me to go on it. I couldn't resist.
You are signed in as: @justinbieber on twitter.
I smiled. This should be fun. I look at his mentions, hundreds spilling in a minute.
“HI @JUSTINBIEBER I LOVE YOU PLZ NOTICE ME XOXXOXOXOOXX”
“IS @JUSTINBIEBER ONLINE? LOL XXXX”
“I REALLY LOVE @JUSTINBEIBER CANT WAIT FOR HIS NEW ALBUM :D XXX”
Oh dear. His beliebers seem slightly crazy, and are slightly obsessed with the caps lock key. I rub my hands together, thinking of a witty tweet to post. I then have a brilliant idea.
