For The Road

Chapter 10

"Lauryn! Marlon!,"I yelled walking in my moms house.

"Hey!," Lauryn said walking downstairs, with somebody following her.

"Whose this?," I refer to the guy behind her.

"Chris meet Rosalyn my little sister," she said.

"Hey," he said shaking my hand.

"Hi," He was alright. "Lauryn where's mom and dad?,"

"They went out for the day," she said. I nodded and went to my old room and looked for Cassidy's old diary. I look under my mattress and pull it out, it has a picture of her on the front. This is the key to my payback plan.

"ROSALYN YOUR FRIEND IS HERE!,"

"Im coming," I yelled walking downstairs. I walk outside and Daunte is standing there pacing back and forth. "Wassup?,"

"Hey, wanna go hang out?," he asked looking at me.

"Sure but I need to change and-, "

"Rosalyn just come on," I giggled and grab my keys and phone and follow him to his car.

"No no Daunte Im not getting on that ride!," I yelled at him looking at the ride.

"Come on," he picked me up and put me on his shoulder.

"Daunte,"

"Hmm?,"

"Why?,"

"Because I want you to get on the ride with me," he said putting me down.

"Next in line," the bored worker said. I stepped on the ride and Daunte sat next to me.

"I cant believe Im doing this," I said.

"Welp you are," he smiled at me. "Your going to like it really," he said.

"Enjoy the ride, "and it started. The loops and turns and the drops. Its stopped and I looked at Daunte and kissed him, the ride started going backwards. He seem surprised but went with the flow. "Thank yall for riding," I draw back and bite my lip. I get off of the ride and walk down the steps. Daunte pulled me over to the side and surprised kissed me.

"Now you happy you went on the ride," he said in between kisses.

"Very," I smiled and kissed him again.

"Daunte?," somebody asks. Fuck. "Rosalyn? I knew it, yall to cute together!,"  Daunte draws back and flicks his friends off. I grab his hand and lead him out of the alley and to his friends. I hold his hand and we walk and talk. This day is uplifting.

By the time he takes me to my moms house its 11.

"Thanks Daunte," I smile and look at him.

"Anytime," his smile is gorgeous. I kiss his cheek and walk to my car.

Cassidy: hey

-hi.

Cassidy: want to hang?

-rather not, you will probably steal something else away from me

Cassidy: what? come over.

I drove to her house. Shit is about to get real.

"Rosalyn what are you talking about?,"

"You sleeping with JAII WHEN WE WERE TOGETHER!,"

"Yall wasn't together at the time!,"

"WHY ARE YOU LYING!,"I yelled.

"Rosalyn Im so sorry okay," she said.

"No your not sorry! never talk to me again,"

"You don't mean that,"

"HOW ARE YOU GOING TO TELL ME! Cassidy what you did was wrong! shady! and that's just....WE WERE BESTRFIENDS WHY!,

"Were?,"

"Yes were," we both started crying."Bye Cassidy, you guys can finally be together," I said right when Jaii walked downstairs. I shook my head  and cried even more. I called Daunte and drove around.

"Hello?,"

"Hey uhmm can I come over please?,"

"Rosalyn are you crying?,"Daunte asked.

"Daunte please can I come over," I asked.

"Yeah," he texted me the directions and I went there. I knocked on the door and ran into his arms. One thing lead to another ;)
