Chpater 48

"Layah what movie should we watch?," Tyler asked. I kicked off my heels and walked to my babies.

"MAMA!," Layah said, she raised her hands. I picked her up and kissed her cheek, she smiled.

"You missed me?," I asked. I set her down and kissed Tyler, he pulled me down to the couch with him. "Tyler," I giggled.

"I missed you," he said. 

"Aw you did," I asked him.

"Ding Dong!," I get up and answer the door.

"Wassup Rosalyn," Greg, Harris, and more of his cousins walked in. "Hey," they all said one by one.

"Oh Hi," I said. "Come on Layah, bath time," I walk upstairs and Tyler welcomed his cousins. "What scent?," I ask Layah. "Lavender? Tropical?,"

"Lavender," Tyler said.

"What are you doing up here, go down there with your cousins," I said getting Layah's water ready.

"I will, after you give me a proper kiss," he says biting his lip.

"You are something else," I peck him and tug on his lip. "Now go," I said. He slaps my butt and walks downstairs, I roll my eyes and give Layah a bath.

"NO NIGGA!," somebody yelled waking Layah, Angus up. Layah started crying, again. I picked her up and tried to put her back to sleep.

"DADA!," She yells. I walk downstairs and Tyler is dozing off in the chair.

"Tyler she wants you," I said. He gets up and looks at me, he squints his eyes.

"Come here Layah," he said. I hand him a pillow first, he drops the pillow. "Ooops," he says.

"Everybody get out, love you guys, I relly do but yall have to go," Everybody grabs their beer and walk out, but Harris.

"Im sorry Rosalyn, I tried to stop him but he didn't listen,"

"What did he take?," I ask him setting Layah down.

"Some of these," she showed me Molly, Weed, and Pain Killers.

"Thank you for telling me," I hug him and walk to Tyler. "Come on get up," I pull him up.

"What?," he said. I dragged him outside where the water hose is. He cant even stand up, on his own. He stumbles a few times, I turn on the hose and spray him once. "WHAT THE FUCK!,"

"Why are you acting like this?," I ask him.

"Im tired!," he yelled. I sprayed him again, and he was pissed.

"Damn lie tell me the truth," I said spraying him. He didn't answer so I sprayed him again.

"I took some pills,"

"Why?," I asked him.

"Shit I don't-," I sprayed him in the face.

"Is there something you need to tell me?," I asked with my hand on my hip.

"No,"

"Tell me why you took them?,"

"I never tried them so," I sprayed him again.

"Tell the truth!," I yell at him.

"Okay I-I fucked up," he said.

"What did you do?," I asked him stepping closer to him. He didn't respond, he wiped his face. "WHAT DID YOU DO!,"

"Lina was drunk and so was I-," I sprayed him over and over. He went to the ground and I continued, so much anger and emotions took over me.

"WHY!,"

"ROSALYN STOP!," He yells. I drop the hose and fall to my knees.

"Why do you always do this to me?," I ask him. He sits up and wipes his face, he looks at me. "Im so tired of being lied to!,"

"L-,"

"You- why were even with her! What happened to me being your everything, that you love! What happened to that? I love you Tyler, you always crush me by doing the dumbest shit! THINK!," I yell. I take a breath. "I don't want to here what you have to say," I get up and walk to the house.

I walked into Kaline Company, feeling good, but horrible. I feel good because Im a new woman, they way I handled everything yesterday I felt good.

"Good morning," Kristy says.

"Morning, "I smile and walk to the elevator. I press the up button and wait for the elevator.

"Good morning," I hear a deep voice. I turn around and Jason is smiling at me.

"Morning," I say turning back to the elevator.

"How was your day?,"

"I was okay, " Damn Lie.

"Your lying,"

"How- I mean no Im not," he chuckled as we stepped into the elevator.

"You want to talk about it?," he asked.

"Not really,"

"Too bad, tell," Ding.

"Well my husband cheated on me for the third time, I have a lot of work to get to. Oh yeah I have to host a presentation on Friday," I walked into my office, him following.

"Well I can help with all of that," I sat in my seat.

"Really?,"

"Of course," he says. "First about your husband," he added quotation around husband. I laughed and started my work, he sat on my desk and helped me. "If he loves you he wouldn't leave you for nothing, or cheat on you. If he loves you then he would allow you to be around me,"  I stopped working and looked up at him.

"What you tryna say?," I asked him.

"You will see, now lets get started on this presentation," I giggle and get to working.
