For The Road

Chapter 28

Once 1:30 hit on the clock and wanted to see if he was going to leave. Yes Im tired as hell,  but it still hurts me that he didn't tell me. 

"Rosalyn?," I pretended to be sleep, I felt a kiss on my cheek. "I love you," I don't know If I should get up or just go back to sleep. I heard the door close and I got up.  I quietly opened the door and I saw Tyler walk out of the door. It felt like he took my heart with him, I saw his suitcase and he got into his car.  I look around for a note or anything. I grab my phone and I try to call him, went straight to voicemail. I walked upstairs and went back to bed.

"Woof," I felt a giant lick on my face.

"Angus," I picked him up and went downstairs. I feed angus and he ate like he never ate before. I picked up my phone hoping I will get a text or a call or something! And theres nothing.

"Ding Dong!," I get up and rush to the door. I open the door, Daunte is there, he is a mess.

"What happened?," I asked him looking at his busted lip.

"That doesn't matter right now, I just need to see you," he says sitting down. I grab the rubbing alcohol and cotton balls. I dap it onto his lip, as he speaks. "I just really miss you, but seeing your new guy. It makes my blood boil, you mean everything to me," I stop what I'm doing. "And if you mean everything to him why would he leave you?,"

"How did-,"

"It doesn't matter, just know that Im here for you. To do the things he can't," he got up and left.

"Angus what does that mean?,"

"Arroo?," I laugh and get dressed. I try to call Tyler again and again, finally he answers.

"Hello?,"

"Tyler?,"

"Rosalyn,"

"Where are you?,"

"Im going to New York to see my cousins,"

"Why didn't you tell me? You just got up and left! WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT!,"

"Calm down,"

"Calm down? You know what Tyler it hurt me a lot, when you left it felt like you took my heart with you,"

"Rosalyn baby, if it helps I will call everyday, send you letters and ever-,"

"How long are you going to be out there?,"

"For 2 weeks, and those two weeks will be the worst time of my life, because your not here next to me," He always knows how to make me smile.

"Tyler  please try your best to get out here earlier, "

"I will baby, I love you,"

"I love you too,"

"Bye,"

"Bye," I hang up feeling relieved.

**** 3 days later****

"Yall some fools," I said laughing at April and Andre.

"So how was Vegas?," April asks him.

"Girl it was fun, we had a ball," he said.

"Glad you had fun, but next time let us know," I said.

"Next time yall coming," we all laughed. The whole time they were here I had Tyler on my mind. I haven't had fallen this hard for a guy since Devin.

**flash back**

I walked inside the house and I heard somebody call Devin's name. I creeped down the hall and I saw Devin and Tanisha together. I turned on the light and they disconnected from each other.

"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE!," I yelled.

"Tanisha bounce," Devin said.

"NO YOU TOO!," I grabbed Devins clothes and threw them outside. Next thing I knew I was on top of Tanisha punching her in the face. I feel Devin getting me off of her, I slapped him in the face. "Never touch me again," I said. "Leave!,"

"Listen," he said grabbing me.

"DONG TOUCH ME!," I yell. "Now get the hell out,"

**end of flashback**

"ROSALYN ANSWER YOUR DAMN PHONE!," I snap back into reality and pick up my phone.

"Hello?,"

"Hey babe," Tyler said.

"Hey, you coming home yet?," I ask walking outside.

"No not yet I wish,"

"Ugh!,"

"Rosalyn hows my baby?,"

"Growing," I lift my shirt and see a little hump. "I hope its a boy,"

"Girl so I can protect her,"

"But then I will have to spoil the girl,"

"Your so complicated,"

"But you love me,"

"Who said that,"

"Don't make me come out there," he chuckled.

"Alright," we talked what seems like hours. Lord I miss him so much.
