Chapter 13

"RING RING!," I bat my eyelashes and look around. I pick up my phone and answer.

"Hello?,"

"You still coming to the reunion," Lauryn says

"Yeah, am I supposed to bring anything?,"

"Sodas and water,"

"Okay I'll be there in about 30 minutes," I hang up and get up and pick out and outfit. I picked out my leather skirt and a white sheer long sleeve top to match. I take a nice long shower and flat ironed my hair, I got interrupted by April.

"Wassup?," she asks me walking in.

"Nothing just have a little headache,"

"Girl me too," she said, we laughed. "Where you going?,"

"At family reuinion, "

"AT THE FAMILY REUNION WHO WE INTRODUCING WHO WE INTRODUCING!," She yelled. I burst out laughing. "So have you talked to Jaii?,"

"Hell no why?,"

"Uhh yall was all freak a leak last night," she said.

"YOUR LYING!," I put the flat iron down.

"No yall was right next to us like down the block,"

"Oh my FUCKING gosh," 

"You lucky Daunte got into a argument with a girl and he had to dip,"

"Omg!," I yelled.

"Yeah, so you haven't talked to neither of them?,"

"No actually Daunte is supposed to come over though,"

"DING DONG!,"

"I guess that's him," I parted my hair and walked downstairs. April following and she smiles at Daunte and walks to her car.

"Wassup," he says kissing me.

"Hey," Should I tell him? Should I just keep it on the low?

"Your ready?,"

"Does it look like Im ready," I said. He chuckled and sat on the couch and watched TV. I took my time with my makeup and and putting my clothes on. I slipped on my studded flats and walked downstairs.

"Babe we have to stop by the store to pick up some stuff," I say walking downstairs.

"Alright I'll drive," he says turning around. "You look great,"

"Thanks," I kiss his cheek while I grab my wallet.

"Get the pepsi," I say.

"Ew get the orange soda,"

"Ew no," we bicker.

"Okay fine lets get both," I compromise, he puts them in the cart as we go to the water.

"Get the arrowhead,"

"That taste weird get this one,"

"Babe water is water," I say.

"Nuhh uhh," I giggle and agree. We walk to pay and we see Cassidy and Jaii. Fuck. We hurry up and pay and walk to my car, I wish.

"Rosalyn hey!,"Cassidy yells. I ignore her and pay and we walk outside. "Daunte Rosalyn wait," she says catching up to us.

"Hi," Daunte says knowing what happened.

"Hey Rosalyn,"

"Hi," I said putting the cases into the car.

"Where you guys going? You guys look nice,"  I give her a minute of my time.

"Look Cassidy we can talk another day but not today," I said smiling.

"Okay call me," she says. I get into the car and Daunte wants to laugh so badly.

"Whats so funny?," I ask him.

"Nothing," I look at him.

"Tell me,"

"Babe lets just go," I shake my head and turn up the music.
