I walk into the house and Tyler is sitting on the couch watching the game still.

"Im home," I said. He had his cousins and friends over.

"Hey Rosalyn," Greg said.

"Hi Greg," everybody said there hellos. But Tyler. Nothing came from his mouth. I put Layah's stroller away, Angus followed me upstairs. Tyler is really starting to piss me off.

***

I wake up with nobody in the bed next to me. Layah in her crib, Angus taking Tyler's spot. I got up and put on my slippers. It was freezing, I cranked the heater and grabbed a blanket. Nobody was downstairs, it was raining hard outside. Tyler's car wasn't there, where the hell is he? I call him and it went straight to voicemail. I walk upstairs and check on Layah and she was sound asleep, Angus and I was the only ones.

"Come on Angus time to eat," I gave him his food. I walk into the kitchen and start making breakfast, Angus begged and begged for bacon. "No Angus," I fixed my plate and started eating. Where the hell is my husband? It doesn't feel like a marriage.  I washed dishes and got dressed, I checked my phone every 3 minutes. Nothing. "Layah are you up?," she was playing with her toy. "Want to go see grandma?,"

**

"Hey mom," I said walking into the house.

"Hey," I saw Jace inside the playpen, I set Layah in there as well.

"I need advice,"

"Lets talk," I sit next to her.

"Well on our honeymoon you know how we were in a hotel, everything was going great. I went down to the lobby to get some coffee, well I met this guy, "

"Oh lord,"

"He was nice, and sweet. Then the other day he was watching the game and he kept ignoring me. Then he started acting like a jerk, and he left that day and I don't know where he is? I tried calling, texting, everything. I doesn't feel like a marriage mom," I wanted to cry.

"Just let him adjust, he has to ease into this. Guys aren't really experts at this, so it is going to take some time," she says. "Just try talking to him," I nod.

"Thanks mom, I was thinking about going to college or getting a job, "

"That's good, maybe go back to college,"  she said.

"I want to stay close to home though,"

"Go to the college Lauryn used to go to,"

"Maybe, but Im going to go job looking,"

"Alright I'll watch them you go ahead,"

"Tyler you haven't answered my phone calls, I don't know where the hell you are! You haven't called or tried to tell me where you are going! You know what you have fun where the hell you are, but when you come back pack your shit!," I yell hanging up  my phone. I sat there in the car, I was pissed.

"HONK HONK!," I look over and guess who. Jason.

"Hey ," I got out of the car.

"Hey why were you just sitting there?,"

"How did you find me?," I said walking to him.

"I just do," I smile. "Do you have any plans for today?," he asked.

"No," I forgot about finding a job.

"I was wondering if you wanted to-," he rubbed the back of his neck. I can tell he was nervous

"I'd love to,"

"Great is 3 fine?,"

"Perfect," I said.

"I'll see you then,"

****

"Are you serious?," I ask.

"Yeah I never had my first kiss," he said.

"Stop lying,"

"Im not,"

"So your telling me your girlfriend never kissed you," I said.

"Yep,"

"Lies,"

"Okay," he throws his hands in surrender. I shake my head and we walk around the mall, I feel his hand wrap around my shoulder. I don't know what to do, I just let it there. No biggie right?
