1  week later

"MAIL!," the mailman yells.

"WOOF WOOF!," Angus barks.

"Angus hush up, the mail man never brings mail to my door, Angus did you order something," Angus followed me too the door. I opened the door and the mail man had a package.

"Ms. James,"

"Yes,"

"We have a package for you," he showed me a huge box.

"WOOF!," Angus scratched up the box.

"Thank you sir," I said.

"No problem have a nice day,"

"You too," I opened the box and there was roses. I smiled and picked them up, I smelled them. I see a book. It read 52 reasons why I love you, it was a deck of cards. I saw my favorite scent of candles and a note.

Read one card per day.

I read the first card, and it was Tyler's handwriting.

Reason 1:  I love you because you know how to take care of a man.

I smile and finish looking through the box and there rose petals and at the very bottom a small box. I opened it and it was a ring. I took a deep breath and on the inside it read promise ring. I slid it on my finger and I admired it. I was crying tears of joy, nobody I mean nobody has done anything for me. I grabbed my phone and called Tyler, he answered on the first ring.

"Hey babe,"

"Thank you," I said.

"Your welcome darling, I have another surprise for you,"

"I hope this is the last one,"

"Trust me its not," he chuckled.

"I miss you,"

"I miss you too,"

"Hows New York,"

"Snowy and cold,"

"Aww, I have no sympathy," I lied.

"Okay I got you,"

"Mhmm, I love you,"

"Love you too, call me later,"

"Okay bye," I smiled and hung up. "Angus you wanna take a walk," he jumped around and ran around me. I slipped on my shoes and put on his leash. I opened the door and Daunte is there. "May I help you,"

"Oh I was just coming to see how you are doing?,"

"Oh Im fine, just taking him on a walk,"

"Oh,"

"Wanna come?,"

"Sure," we walked around the block. "You getting married?," I laughed.

"No, its a promise ring,"

"Its beautiful," he says in a shy way.

"Why are you so shy, we are cool right?," I say nudging him.

"Its just odd," he says.

"Why do we need to talk about it," I said sounding like his mother.

"No, its just this girl," he said.

"OHH TELL ME!," I said interested.

"She nice and fine as hell," I laughed and listened. "We talked for a while and she always telling me how much she love me,"

"Aww,"

"But I don't know if she feel the same way,"

"Have yall had sex,"

"Yeah a lot, but I didn't feel nothing,"

"Then she isn't the one," I said feeling a tad bit of jealousy.

"Why you say that,"

"Well because if she doesn't show you how much she love you then, how she going ot be there for you when your down,"

"You right," he said. "Thanks Rosalyn,"

"No problem," we continued our walk and caught up on some things.

"DING DONG!," The doorbell rings. I put the garlic bread in the oven and walk to the door.

"Who is it?," I ask. No response. I open the door and I see Tyler. I jump into his arms and kiss him everywhere. "You here but it hasn't been two weeks?," I said practically screaming.

"I know I thought I will surprise you,"

"AH!," I jump back into his arms and we almost fall onto the ground.

"Hello to you too," he said wrapping his arms around me.

"Ugh I missed you so much,"

"I missed you too," I get off of him and smile.

"You cooking?," he said.

"Yeah," I walk into the kitchen. I start making the spaghetti and Tyler wraps his arms around me. He places his head in the crook of my neck and kisses my neck.  I turn around and lift his chin up and kiss his lips. Those lips, haven't had those in a while. He kisses me roughly  and sloppy, he picks me up and onto the counter.

"I love you," he said in between kisses. He takes control and carries me upstairs.

"Food was good," he said putting his plate away.

"Thank you," I said putting the leftovers in the fridge. He sits down on the couch and waits for me. Once I finish cleaning the kitchen, I lay next to Tyler and he rubs my stomach. "What should we name the baby?, "

"How bout Lamar," I say.

"Eh,"

"Eh?," I look at him.

"Yeah we are having a girl, her name will be...Layah,"

"Lamar,"

"Layah,"

"Lamar, "

"Layah, "

"Okay whatever," I said smiling. "When should we tell our parents?,"

"Tomorrow Im to tired," he said.

"Aww jetlag?,"

"Yeah," he said like a little kid.

"Oh too bad," I said walking upstairs.

"Wait," he followed me.
