Three whole words and eight letters late

Chapter 20

Luke's POV

I woke with Juliet in my arms. I though I heard someone walk in. I hope it wasn't the doctors. I saw a white little piece of paper on the table on Juliet's side. I wonder if Michael left it there. I want to get up and read what it says but I don't want to wake up Juliet. She has had a very long day.

I carefully remove my arms from her body. Then unplaced her arms from mine. I quietly tip toe over to the table. The note. It wasn't from Michael, It was from Ashton. Who fucking told him she was in the hospital. I did not want him to know.

The note read "We're over" -ASH

She's now going to be heartbroken when she wakes up and reads this. I got to find him and knock some sense into him. They are perfect for each other. He can treat her better than me. He is romantic and I'm awkward. She deserves him and she likes him more anyway. He can't do this  to her.

I ran out of Juliet's room to try to check up with Ashton before he leaves the building. I decide to take the stairs because the elevator takes so long to wait for. Once I get to the bottom floor I see Ashton heading out the door. That's when I started running faster.

Ashton's POV

I was walking out the door. All of the sound I was tackled to the ground. WHAT THE HELL!?!? I turn over and Luke is on top of me. He must of got the note. I wonder if Juliet's read it yet.

"Dude, get the fuck off of me," I said.

Luke quickly got off me..

"I can't believe you, after everything she's going through you're breaking up with her," Luke said. "This is the worst time."

"What? Aren't you happy? You get her all to herself now," I spat.

"That's not even my point Ashton," Luke pinches the bridge of his nose.

Then what is point because I am so confused right now. I never thought he'd be beating me up for breaking up with Juliet. I though he'd be happy he could finally have her. She seem so much more happier with Luke anyways. I begin to walk away in frustration.

"You don't even know what happened," Luke screamed in my face.

"No because I had no time to talk to her, You guys were fucking 'cuddling'," I yelled back.

"Nate did this to her, Nate made her pass out, Nate kissed her, and felt her up. Your mom's fucking boyfriend," Luke puts his finger to my chest in disgust. "And you break up with her for nothing."

After hearing that I was so mad. I was more than mad I was furious. I didn't even respond to Luke I just turned around and walked away. I need to fix this. I wanna beat the crap out of that guy. I knew there was something wrong with him the moment I saw him. I will never let him come near my mom or my family again!

Juliet's POV

I woke up and Luke was gone. Has he left me? I looked over at my table. There was a glass of apple juice. The nurse must of brought another one in. I picked up and took of sip of it. Then I saw a piece of paper. Luke must of left a note. Thank God, I almost had a panic attack.

But when I picked It up it wasn't Luke's handwriting. It was Ashton's, After I read it I just stared, shocked. I wonder when he got here. Does he know about Nate? These question keep running through my head. I was scared. Because If he knew about Nate I was dead. Like literally dead.

I was crying when Luke walked in. He most of seen that I got the note. He crawled into the hospital bed. He put his arms around me yet again.

"I'm so sorry. He doesn't understand Baby." After this I cried myself back to sleep. When I was with him it was so comforting.

Ashton's POV

Once I got home a I ran into the house. I need to get this guy out of my house. He could of killed my girlfriend. Well ex-girlfriend now. I was so mad I didn't even pay attention to my mom when I walked through the door.

"Ashton what's going on?" Mom said in a worried voice.

I ignored her and headed into the kitchen. There he was talking to Harry and Chloe. The image of him maybe doing something to Chloe make my stomach sick. Nate smiled at me when I walked in. He won't be smiling for long.

I walked up to him and punched him in the face. Making him fall to the floor from his chair. He got up faster then I expected. He came running after me. I could tell Harry and Chloe were scared. Nate pined me to the wall. Probably the same thing he did to Juliet. 

"YOU MAKE ME SICK," I yelled in his face.

"What did you say to me son," Nate said.

"Don't call me that, YOU COULD OF KILLED JULIET," I Said. 

After that he punched me in the face and I fell to the floor. Wow he was a lot stronger than me. Mom walked in right when it happened. She was scared I could tell it in her face. She looked like she was about to cry. Then Nate let go of me and ran to her.

"DO NOT TOUCH ME," Mom yelled.

Then Nate got closer. I finally had the strength to stand up.

"You don't understand he punched me first," Nate whined like a child.

"Nate save it were done," Mom said.

"You heard her Nate, Get out of my house," I said.

Nate stalked out the door after this. I kind of wish he was put in jail. My mom ran up to me and gave me a hug. She was crying. I hate it when she cries. I just hugged her back. My mom said sorry. When really there is not reason she should be sorry. We stayed in this position for a while. I love my mom. I am just glad she is safe now.

But as I watched Nate climb into his car angrily I realized- Juliet wasn't.
