If it hurts this much,

It's been like this now for days,

I'll be home in a day, 

I fear that's a month too late. 

That night I slept,

Chapter 24

Juliet's POV

The week went by fast, tomorrow is the first day of school and I haven't even seen Luke. I wish I hadn't taken Michael's advice. I just hope he isn't mad at me. Michael is the only one out of the boys that knows were I live and know that I am going to school with them. I can't wait to see everyone again, I hope they'll be surprised like Michael said they would, instead of mad.

During this week Ryder was job hunting and he finally found one. I also visited Brad in jail, I think jail has changed him a lot. Maybe he will be more different once he comes back. Ryder and I went school shopping. I hung out with Michael a lot. I mean he is the only who know I am still here.

Today was passing by slow, I don't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing. It seem like a good thing, But I don't know how much longer I could wait to see Luke. I was hanging out in my room that finally has a bed now! It small but hey at least it was better then the couch.

I heard a knock on the door, It must be Ryder. I wonder what he's doing today?

"Come in," I said.

Ryder had on jeans and a cut off shirt. It reminded me of Ashton.

"Hey, do you wanna do something today?" Ryder asked.

"Sure," I shrugged.

I had to do this. One I barley saw him this week and it'll be a year since I have seen him. We need to catch up. I missed him, and I see that a lot of things about him have changed.

"What are we going to do?" I asked.

"How about we catch a movie and grab a bite?" Ryder questioned.

"Sounds great."

Ryder and I went to his favorite restaurant. It has always been his favorite since we were little. We just talked during dinner. I explained to him about Brad and how I ended up in Liz's house. I told him about the boys. He seemed to like Michael and Calum not so much Luke and Ashton. I think it because I romantically involved them.

After talking about me all the time I learned something about him. He has a girlfriend, But she lives back at home. He said she might come and visit us soon. I can't believe Ryder has a girlfriend and didn't tell me until now. I hope this girl isn't like all his other girlfriends. *Cough* sluts *Cough*

After dinner we headed to the movie theaters. Ryder didn't want to see a chick flick so we ended up seeing We're the Millers which was the funniest movie ever. I am actually having a great time hanging out with my brother. It been along time since we have done something like this. I think he enjoyed it too.

When we go home after the movies it was already 9:30. I had to go to bed. It was the first day of school tomorrow and I wasn't going to be late. I can't wait to see Luke tomorrow!

"Ryder I am going to bed, I have school tomorrow," I said sleepily.

"Ok, I will take you in the morning so I'm going to bed too, goodnight little sis," Ryder teases.

After we said goodnight I headed to my room. I put my pj's on and washed my face. I climbed in bed thinking about tomorrow and wondering how its going to go. Soon though I was fast asleep.

Luke's POV

I woke up to Hannah and Jacob jumping on my bed. It so early, Ugh why does school have to start. Can't it just be summer all over again? I wish. Hannah and Jacob left after the saw I was up because they knew I would tackle them. Or before I would. Now my ribs hurt like hell.

I got up and got dressed. I headed downstairs and mom was in the kitchen cooking breakfast. It smelled so good. This tasted so much better then the hospital food. After breakfast there was a honk in the drive way. That must mean Michael is here.

Michael always picked me up for school. Mom had to take the twins and go to work so she didn't have time to take me. Michael always gave me rides.

"Bye mom," I said while heading out the door.

I hopped into the passenger side of the car. I was not ready for school. School would so much better with Juliet being here. I just can't believe she isn't here. The only girl I ever loved is gone.

"Dude, cheer up, I have a surprise for you once we get to school," Michael says with a grin.

"Like what?" I asked.

Michael laughed "You'll see,"

I hate surprises. I hope it a good one. I just wanna go home.

We arrived to the school and Michael parked his car. I climbed out. All the girls were staring at me. I mean come on don't they have something better to do the just stare. I rolled my eyes. When we walked in the school we found Calum. He is always earlier for school.

We said hi to Calum. I almost forgot about Michael's surprise. I was going to head to English until I remember.

"What the surprise Michael?" I asked.

"What surprise?" Calum said confused.

"Luke just turn around," Michael said.

When I turned around I saw something I thought I never see again. I can't believe I am actually seeing this right now. Is she is actually here. Wow this is the best surprise ever.

"Juliet!"
