"I better get home. It's almost dinner time," Niall says looking at his wrist watch.

"Okay... wait. Didn't you just eat with us?"

He laughs and nods, opening up the front door.

"Who says you can't two dinners?"

I chuckle ans shake my head. Typical Niall.

"I'll be next door if you need me and my phone number is in your cell phone," Niall says opening the screen door and stepping outside.

"Alright. Thanks, Ni. Do you know where my cell is?" I ask.

He nods.

"It should be in your office. But you only have like two numbers. Me, your boss, and your doctor. Weird, right?"

"I don't have my mum in my phone? Or my girlfriend?"

"Nope. You don't have a girlfriend. And... your mum died... when you were 16."

"What?"

"Yeah. I'm sorry."

"My dad?" I ask following him outside.

"Your dad abandoned you after your mum died."

I'm left standing there, looking at Niall with wide eyes and mouth open. I can't believe this. My mum is dead? My dad just... gone?

"What about my sisters?"

He sighs and looks at symphethetic eyes.

"Your... your sisters died, too. In the car crash with your mum."

Tears sting my eyes. I really have no one? Except Harry... Maybe that's why I adopted him. So I wouldn't be lonely.

"Sorry, Louis," Niall says before slowly walking to his house.

My sisters. Mum. Dad. All... gone. I don't like this. At all. I wipe my tears away and peer at Niall who is looking at me with sad eyes. He waves goodbye and steps inside his house. I'm too shocked to move a muscle.

My family is my life. Without them... what do I have to live for? I shake my head and drag my feet into my warm house.

"LOU-EEE!" I hear a voice yell upstairs.

I smile to myself and wipe my eyes making sure that all the tears were gone. As I walk up the stairs, I hear what sounds like small cries and sniffles.

"Harry?"

I walk over to his bedroom door and open it to see him with red eyes and wet cheeks.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

He quickly puts a small box underneath his bed and looks at me innocently.

"What was that?" I ask gesturing at the box.

"Nothing."

I sigh and sit on his bed.

"Now seriously. What's wrong?" I ask.

"I thought you left me!" He cries. "I called your name over and over, but you wouldn't answer me."

"Ohh, Harry," I said stretching out my arms for a hug.

And that's all I expected. A hug. But instead he climbs into my lap and wraps his arms around me. I surround him in my arms and let him rest his head on my chest. His body fit perfectly resting in mine.
