*Louis' P.O.V.*
"Oooh! Someone's dressed up tonight!" Liam says walking into my hotel room with Niall by his side.
I roll my eyes and look at him from the mirror, immediatly bursting into laughter. There casually stands Liam in his batman footy pajamas.
"Oh my gosh, Li. You're all dressed up, too!" I laugh.
Niall laughs also while Liam just rolls his eyes and sits on the edge of my bed. Niall sits on his bed and they both watch me as I adjust my hair in the mirror.
"Where are you going this late at night?" Niall asks suspiciously.
Before I can answer, Liam says quickly,"Obviously somewhere with Harry. I saw him in our room doing the same as you."
I sigh amd continue to fix my hair. I shrug.
"We're only going out for dinner."
"Where?"
"At a resteraunt."
"What resteraunt?"
"A resteraunt in town."
"What resteraunt in town?"
"Liam. Please. Shut you mouth."
He laughs. Niall leans over, giving Liam a high five.
"You two are dorks," I say grabbing my wallet and putting it in my pocket. "Now if you excuse me, I have a date to get to."
I smirk and open the door. Liam raises his eyebrows in surprise. Niall only sits back and smiles. Then, it comes to my realization of what I had just said.
"Dinner! It's a dinner!"
"A dinner date," Niall mutters.
Knowing that I'm not going to win against them, I ignore them and leave, closing the door behind me. I bite my lip nervously as I near Harry's hotel room. I shouldn't be nervous about going on a date with Harry (especially since he is my best friend), but I hope everything goes okay. I never thought that I, of all people in the world, would go on a date with Harry Styles. What if things go wrong? What if he gets bored with me or doesn't like the date? Or finds that he doesn't really like me? I straighten up my shirt as I try and erase these thoughts from my head. I guess I look alright.
I have on a white short sleeved button up shirt, the nicest jeans I own, black converse shoes, and my blue jean jacket. I inhale deeply before knocking on the door. I exhale and take a step back. Behind the door I can hear moving around and talking. The door opens and Zayn stands there with a slight smile on his face.
"Hey, Louis," Zayn says quietly.
I smile small, awkwardly looking behind him for Harry and spotting no one.
"Hi, Zayn. Harry here?"
He nods. His smile disspapears as he walks back into the room. He knows that I'm still slightly mad at him for spilling to management about my breakup with Eleanor. But not as much as I used to be. In fact, I want our friendship back. Zayn and I have a special friendship that I don't want to lose. Distracting me from my thoughts, Harry appears at the door. There he stands in front of me with his famous brown boots, black skinny jeans, a tight white t-shirt, a dark blue sweater jacket, and a... White fedora? Oh, Harry...
"You look stunning," I say looking him up and down.
He smiles.
"You do as well," Harry says putting out his hand for me.
Immediatly, I take his hand in mine and pull him out of the door. We walk down to the main level in a comfortable silence. We sneak out the back way of the hotel and get in the van Paul is waiting in fastly. Management doesn't know about this date. I guess no one does... Except Paul. And apparently Niall and Liam. And most likely Zayn. We can trust them four, though. However, if Management found out, they would flip their wigs.
"Ready, boys?" Paul asks as we hop into the back seat.
"Yes," I say excitedly.
Paul starts the van and begins to drive. I glance over at Harry to see that he looks jittery about something.
"Everything okay?" I whisper in his ear.
"Do you think management will find out?" he asks resting his head on my shoulder.
I shrug.
"Hopefully not. But everything will be alright as long as I have you."
He blushes and kisses my cheek.
"Then I guess I don't have to worry."
Turning away, he peers out the window. I can't help myself but to look at him. Stare at his georgeous self. I don't know how he does it, but he intrudes in on all of my thoughts. Captures my heart. He makes me want to be romantic and sweet. He's fragile. His heart is and I just want to do whatever I can to make sure no one hurts his heart. We finally make it to the resteraunt and walk inside. We sit in my reserved spot in the back. It's private and no paparrazzi are allowed inside. A candle is set in the middle to make it a tad bit more romantic.
"Wow. This is amazing, Lou," he says as we take a seat across from each other at the table set for two.
The resteraunt is dim lit and has classical music playing softly. It's not only romantic, but expensive. I don't mind, though.
"It's all for you, sweet cheeks."
Suddenly my phone rings. I groan and quickly pull it out.
I thought I turned it off," I say.
"It's okay," Harry assures me.
I am very close to ignoring the call until I see that it's Liam. It must be important if he couldn't wait for me to come back to tell me.
"One second," I whisper.
I answer to hear Liam's sniffles on the other side.
"Li? What's going on?" I say.
"P-Put it on s-speaker, please," Liam stutters.
I put it on speaker and set my phone down. Harry raises an eyebrow, confused. I only nod down at the phone and we listen.
"I'm sorry for interupting your dinner date, but I wanted to let you know that my mum called."
"Oh yeah?" Harry asks. "How is he doing?"
Liam takes a deep breath before shakily speaking.
"She has to have a MRI. If the results come back negatively, then that means that the cancer is getting worse."
Harry and I look at each other worridly.
"Wow, Liam... I'm sorry to hear that," I say. "I wish the best for your mum. Just think positive, okay?"
"Okay, Lou. Thanks, I just wanted to let you two know. Now carry on with your date and have fun... But not too much fun... If you know what I'm saying."
We both shake our heads.
"Oh, Liam. You're like an embarassing dad," Harry laughs.
I laugh also and Liam chuckles along with us.
"Well, bye guys."
"Bye!" Harry and I say in sync.
"Love you!" Harry says like a child.
Liam chuckles and says,"I love you, too, Harry."
I end the call and put the phone back in my pocket. Harry and I look at each other with the same sad expression.
"I feel like we need to do more to support Liam and his mum through this," Harry says suddenly. "I mean, you are always talking to him about this because he comes to you first for everything. But the other boys and I don't do much to support him."
"I think that's a great idea."
He smiles before taking my hand across the table.
"Now back to us..." Harry says cheekily. "I know this is random, but I've always wanted to tell you that when I'm with you, I feel like we're in our own little world."
I smile and nod in agreement.
"You take me away like Peter Pan," he adds.
I chuckle and whisper,"And you make everyday a blessing like a little angel."
