chapter 9

Cara's pov

Luke took me to a club. It was not a regular club where there were drunk people, smell of alcohol or people dancing and making out. Infact it was quiet and calm. People were sitting at their table enjoying their dinner. What was intresting about that place was the karaoke night that was going on. I always enjoy watching people sing their heart out. There were already a couple on stage singing. The crowd was cheering them. Me and Luke went to our table and ordered soft drinks. He was looking handsome as always. We were chatting when the announcer said.

"That was great. Whose gonna rock the house next?" Nobody replied. Everybody was busy with themselves.

"Since none of you volunteered. We are going to do this in my style. The spotlight will search the crowd and will randomly select anyone. The person on whom the light stops has to come on stage and sing" he explained. Well that's pretty intresting. I looked at Luke who was smiling. I hope the light stops at Luke. It will be a treat to watch him sing. We continued talking waiting for our food when suddenly everything got brighter. I looked around and was forced to close my eyes from the light's brightness. Wow great. Among so many people here it has to be me. I don't wanna sing. Ohh god help me. I saw the announcer coming towards me.

"No..no.. I can't sing, i don't sing" I tried to say but he pulled me up. I looked at Luke hoping he would help me but all he said was 'all the best'. I hate you Luke. Now I was on the stage and people were staring me. It's not that I haven't been on stage before but it's just that I haven't been on stage in front of a mic. I have walked runways not sing. I felt something in my stomach. I might vomit. The music started and i saw some lyrics on the screen. Help me Jesus. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath and started singing. (A/N- watch the video now. Pretend she is singing)

Luke's pov

Okay let me tell you a secret. It was all my plan. Last night Michael told me how he saw Lily singing and her wish to get back the band together. I think this will be a great idea. All we need to do is make these girls believe in themselves and convince them that they actually have the potential to be a great band. I have heard Cara sing before and nothing has changed. She is still the best. I don't know why the girls stopped trying. I saw Cara singing and having fun on the stage. The crowd was cheering and she was just enjoying. After the song was over she came running towards our table.

"How was it?" She asked excitedly.

"That was awesome. You are a rockstar." I complimented her.

"Thanks.. I missed this" she said softly looking down at her fingers. Yeah, mission successful. You are a genius Luke. I mentally gave myself a high five. After we were done eating. It was time to go back. We went outside. I looked at her and she was looking beautiful as always. I wanted to kiss her again. We were standing inches apart. Her blue eyes were staring at my soul. I leaned down and kissed her soft lips but she didn't pulled away like last time. She kissed me back. I could feel fireworks exploding in my stomach. We kissed for a couple of minutes. Our lips moving in sync. I cupped her face.

"I like you Cara" I whispered to her.

"I like you too." She said. Holy shit. I can't believe she likes me too. I was about to say something but then..

*click* *click*  *click*

"Hey Luke are you two dating?"

"Cara, look over here.. give us a pose"

"Are you two on a date?"

The paps started questioning us. Ohh god how did they find us. They started blocking us. I took cara's hand and dragged her to the car. I quickly started the car and drove off. The paps were still clicking our photos. After 15 minutes I dropped Cara out of her building. She pecked my lips before getting out of the car. Wow this is the best day of my life. I'm glad she likes me as much as i like her.

Hannah's pov

I was with Lily in our room. We had no clue what to do. I was bored and Lily was continously speaking about god knows what. She just won't shut up. My mind was somewhere else. My mind was thinking about Ashton. I'm gonna tell him today how I feel. And I'm pretty convinced he feels the same since Lily has given me a couple of proofs. I was thinking when my thoughts got interrupted by my phone. I got a message. I opened it.

From ash-
Hey Hannah..I need to tok to u..urgent. meet me in the backyard after 1 hour.. come alone :)

Ohh god im freaking out. I can't believe my eyes. He wanted to talk to me all alone. May be he wanted to tell how he feels about me. I was very happy and I just couldn't stop blushing.

"Fuck you Hannah.. you are not paying attention.. goddamit" Lily shouted at me. I looked at her before replying to Ashton. One hour went listening to one direction. Lily would just complain how neither her brother nor Maddie would take her to meet the boys. The time came when I had to meet Ashton in the backyard. I could feel butterflies in my stomach.

"Okay.. Lily I'm going to the kitchen I'm hungry." I told her and went downstairs. When I reached the backyard I saw Ashton sitting on the ground.

"Hey.. you wanted to talk?" I said acting clueless. But my heart was screaming.

"Yeah.. please don't tell anyone what I'm gonna say. These are my feelings." he said blushing and looking away from me. Just speak ash. I wanna be with you. Just make the first move. I can't wait.

"Yeah sure.. promise..go ahead" I spoke. I couldn't stop smiling. I love you a lot just speak Ashton.

"Ummm.... I like cara" he said.
