Chapter 39

*one month later*

Nobody's pov

Maddie is still in coma and Calum is worse than before. No he hasn't gone insane but he doesn't talk to anyone much and is usually in the hospital sitting beside Maddie. He brings flowers for her everyday but Maddie has shown no sign of recovery. The doctors are not sure if she would make it. But Calum knows that Maddie can't leave him alone. Everybody is depressed and tries to cheer Calum but nothing works. Today was no different. Everyone else was in hotel whereas Calum was visiting Maddie with a bouquet of red roses. He sat near her and grabbed her hand.

"Please Maddie wake up. I can't live without you. You can't leave me alone. I have so many dreams that I want to live with you. Nobody can replace you. You know what Hannah and Ashton are together and all lovey dovey. After the day Hannah tried to commit suicide Ashton has not left her side for once. They are totally in love. Also there is a great news. Cara has got an offer for a music video. I think it's for some Calvin Harris song. I'm not sure. Your tour is coming to an end. Don't worry the girls have not replaced you. They can never and I won't let them" he said with a small laugh and then continued.

"Just for a month Ashton is drumming in your place. He is helping the girls. Louis misses you a lot but yeah not more than me" and a tear rolled out of his eye. He quickly wiped it.

"You know what happened last night. I heard some noises coming out from Ashton and hannah's room. I think they were getting naughty. Hahaha..anyways After the tour gets over Cara is going to California for 2-3 weeks for the shoot of the video. Umm.... and that Cody is still in jail and ashton makes sure he remains there. And what should I tell you about Michael and Lily. Everyone can see they are in love with each other but those little shits have too much ego in them. They don't talk to each other anymore. And you should also know little mix girls are very concerned for you. They were ready to cancel their tour after what happened with you but somehow we all convinced them and ashton came forward to help the girls and replace you for the time being."

Calum would usually talk to her and tell her everything that was going on. He knew she was listening to him but she didn't replied and all Calum wanted was her to show small reaction but everyday was same. Maddie on the other hand was listening to calum. She was happy that Ashton and hannah are back, she wished she could congratulate cara and hug her for getting the offer, she wanted to slap Lily and drag her to Michael, she wanted to be with Hannah when she tried suicide attempt and shout at her for taking such a stupid step but all Maddie could do was lie on the hospital bed like a dead person. She couldn't move, she couldn't speak. She wanted to kiss Calum, cuddle with him but none of these was in her hand. But one thing that she was sure of was she cannot get a guy better than Calum. She loves him as much as he loves her.

"Nothing is same without you Maddie. I wanna be with you. I want to hold you in my arms, kiss you, dammit I wanna leave hickeys all over your neck and make love to you. Please baby come back to me. I love you and I will forever love you" cal said and kissed her hand and then her forehead. He stayed there for couple of hours. He would often do that. Just sit and look at Maddie and hope she would wake up soon but so far nothing happened to Maddie.

Michael's pov

I have decided to go out to a club. Not with anyone but alone. Yes I know last time I went to any club I pretty much messed up. But this time I'm not really into girls I'm here to just get my mind off from all the tension that is going on. Ashton and Luke are busy with their girlfriends while Calum is depressed which I completely understand therefore I didn't even asked him to come with me. And Lily I don't even care where she is. Must be with Liam but whatever.

I've already had one glass of vodka and I'm feeling little dizzy. The bartender handed me the second glass.

"You shouldn't drink so much. Remember what happened last time."
