chapter 15

Lily's pov

The party was going fine but my surprise was still left which I had planned with Michael. Everybody was eating, talking or dancing. I went towards the music system and turned it down so that I can have everybody's attention.

"Guys. Can I have a minute please."I started. Everybody was now staring me and had a confused expression.

"It's my best friend's birthday and thank you everyone for coming and being a part of it. But there is something special I have for everyone and especially Maddie and the girls" I continued. Then it was Michael's turn to speak while I went towards the big curtain that we had put up in order to hide what was behind it.

"You guys must be thinking we are ruining the moment by giving you all a lecture but trust me it's worth it. Today we have one direction, all time low, hey violet, little mix and one of the greatest bands on the planet 5 seconds of summer. There are not just five bands right now but actually six." Michael said and everybody started gossiping about who this band is.

"We have Cara McKenzie, Lily Irwin, Hannah Edwards and Maddie Anderson with us. Please welcome Black Angels" Michael concluded in the most dramatic way. And at the same time the curtains were pulled down. There was a stage with instruments on it. Yes it was our old instruments. I thought this was the perfect way to make the girls realise that we can do it as a band. I never wanted to be a tv host. I wanted to be in a band with my best friends. I noticed the girls and they had the most shocked expressions on their faces. Cara was trying to hide while Maddie has turned red and Hannah was standing with her mouth open. The crowd cheered. Though everybody was surprised but they wanted to hear us. The guys pushed the girls on stage. Maddie quickly sat behind the drums and whispered "I missed it."

"Me too. Its been so long" Hannah spoke holding her bass.

"As much as i love you right now Lily. Let me tell you if we fucked up again you are dead because we are standing in front of many talented singers right now" Cara said looking at me. We all looked at each other and Maddie started without wasting any more time.

"1..2..1..2..3..4"

*after the performance*

We performed teenage dirtbag and let me tell you it was the best performance we could give. The guests were obviously surprised except the 5sos boys but they continued cheering us. For the first time in our life we were feeling confident. People were clapping continously and I could feel my eyes were wet. I was so proud of the girls.

"So I guess we need to hire another hair stylist" I heard Harry say. He was smiling widely and once we got off the stage everybody said how good we were and that we should take our band more seriously. Me and girls hugged each other.

"Thank you Lily for this. You are the best." Maddie said.

"My pleasure girls. I love you all and our band. Cheers to Black angels" I shouted giving them a band hug. Suddenly I saw the boys on stage.

"Hello everyone, we are 500 years of winter" Ashton said on the Mic. Everybody started laughing including the boys themselves.

"So we just heard this beautiful band Black Angels and now we gonna perform one of our song for you because we are pumped." Luke said giggling. Everybody cheered for them and the boys started playing their song.

The boys's performance got over and it was awesome as always. Now the party is coming to its end. I hope Maddie enjoyed the party. She totally deserves it. I made my way to Michael and pecked his lips.

"Thank you baby for helping me. It wouldn't have been possible without your support." I said to him.

"Its my pleasure boo. I love you" Michael replied giving me a kiss on the forehead.

"Love you too" I whispered and hugged him tightly. He is the best thing happened to me after my band and I'm not letting him go.

Hannah's pov

The party was now over. The guests have gone and now only me, girls and the boys were left. We started cleaning the mess. The boys have insisted Maddie and Cara to stay since it was too late. Jason had gone to his friend's house where he had planned to stay. We all were just cleaning except Maddie and Calum who were busy making out on the couch.

"Get a room you perverts" Michael said with a disgusted face.

"Okay as you say" Calum said and took Maddie upstairs. Ohh I guess somebody is gonna have birthday sex. I mentally slapped myself for making that statement.

"Hey Hannah?" Ashton said interrupting my thoughts. Then I realised everybody had gone to their rooms and it was just me and Ashton.

"Mind if we talk or are you tired?" he asked me. Hell yeah I'm tired but not for him.

"No I'm fine. Yeah we can talk" I answered him. We went back to the backyard. It was so quite now. One hour ago this place was crowed with people and music was blasting. I loved sitting in this calm environment with Ashton.

"Did you enjoy the party?" Ashton asked looking at me.

"Yeah totally. I'm glad Maddie liked it" I said.

"Me too. By the way I didn't knew you had a brother. He looks a lot similar to you though" Ashton said giggling.

"Well yeah because he is my twin" I replied back laughing and Ashton immediately got serious. He was no longer looking at me. He was looking at my wrist. Holy shit. My scars. He didn't moved his eyes. I tried to pull my hand at the back when he immediately grabbed it.

"Why did you do that Hannah? Why did you cut?" He asked me softly. Thank god he isn't angry but he looks worried.

"Ummm... I was a little upset" I said not knowing what should I reply him. He took my hand and kissed my scars. I could feel butterflies dancing in my stomach.

"Am I the reason?" he asked. Ohh god what should I reply. I got panicked. He was looking straight into my eyes.

"N..no..ash..I was just a little depressed. Nothing else" I tried to say.

"Don't ever do that again. Don't cut your beautiful skin ever again. Otherwise I will never talk to you" he said with a serious tone. Why does he care about me? Why is he worried? He looks upset though. I have to find answers.

"Can I ask you something?" Ashton murmered looking down.

"Yeah sure anything" I said.

"Would you like to go out with me tomorrow?" He said nervously. "I mean if you are not busy or anything" he continued. Fuck yes. I can't believe this. Thank you god. I have been waiting for this day for so long and he finally asked me but I decided to play it cool.

"Yes of course" I answered him. We both smiled and continued talking for 5 minutes more before heading to our rooms. This day couldn't get better. I slept smiling to myself.
