*The Hoods*

Mason Robert Hood- 6 years
Madison Joy Hood- 6 years
Matt James Hood- 8 months

"Where is your mother?" Calum asked Mason who was busy playing his video game. Madison was sitting beside him applying nailpaint on her toes.

"Are you listening to me? Where is your mom" Calum asked again.

"Fuck" mason groaned.

"Excuse me?" Calum said with raised eyebrow.

"Daddy she has gone out with aunt Lily and Cara." Madison replied.

"Thanks princess. And mason say that word again and you are grounded. No more photoshoots for you" Calum said in a serious tone. Mason paused the game and turned to his father.

"What word?" He asked.

"The F word" Calum said.

"You mean fuck?" Mason smirked.

"I said don't use that word again" Calum said angrily.

"I don't understand which word you are talking about" his 6 year old son asked him.

"Stop playing with me. You know I don't want you to say the word fuck again" Calum said crossing his arms.

"Okay I won't say fuck again. Because you don't like me saying fuck so I will never use the word fuck" mason replied.

"Ohh for fucks sake.. shut up" Calum shouted. Suddenly Maddie came holding Matt in her arms.

"Calum Thomas Hood I think I told you..you were not suppose to curse in front of our kids." Maddie yelled.

"Ooppsss" mason said and continued playing.

"I didn't. He used it and I was scolding when......never mind" Calum shrugged. "Mr. Mason Hood you are grounded and no photoshoot for you for the next month" Calum said.

"Yeah.... thank god.. you anyways don't look good..I'm way better than you" Madison spoke to to her twin brother.

"Umm... I think before grounding him you should talk to Cara. She wants both Madison and Mason tomorrow at her studio." Maddie whispered to Calum.

"I don't care. It's important to let them know that they will be punished when they misbehave" Calum told Maddie.

"What did you said?" Mason said and threw Madison's nail paint away.

"You did not just do that" she replied angrily and grabbed mason's hair. He in turn pulled madison's hair and both of them started fighting. Soon grabbing each other's collar. Calum ran towards them and separated them.

"You both are grounded. No video games and no pizza for the next month" Calum shouted at both of them.

"No daddy.. he started it" Madison protested.

"I don't care princess..you were part of it..and I'll make sure to talk to Aunt Cara and tell her that you guys are not modelling for her agency anymore" Calum said. Madison has always been influenced by Cara and wanted to become a model whereas Mason just tagged along. Both of them work for some kids clothing line with the help of Cara.

"Dad you can't do that" mason said in a serious tone and walked towards Madison and hugged her.

"See dad we made up." He said. Madison in return hugged her brother as soon as she got the clue what mason was trying to do. All this time Maddie was standing looking at her overly dramatic family.

"Okay I'll think about it. Now go to your room and get ready. We are going out" Calum said and the twins ran upstairs.

"I don't think you know the meaning of grounded" Maddie said smiling.

"Do you really think I'm gonna do that to my kids. But really did you look at them? So dramatic." Calum laughed. Suddenly Matt started getting fuzzy.

"What happened baby?" Maddie said grabbing him closer. But then he started crying loudly. Calum rushed to him and place his finger inside Matt's mouth. Matt started sucking.

"He is hungry" Calum said. Maddie was little confused and looked at Calum with puzzled expression.

"What? When I'm alone with him I check it like this if he is hungry or not" Calum spoke. Maddie smiled and pecked his lips.

"You are the best father in the world" she whispered. Matt again started crying trying to get his parents attention.

"I really wanna make out with you right now you hot ass but my little boy is hungry so go and make him some baby food" Calum said and took Matt into his arms.

"Come to Papa" he cooed. Maddie went inside the kitchen and then the twins came down running.

"Daddy do I look good?" Madison asked Calum.

"You look like a roasted bread" mason said and started laughing. Madison frowned.

"Mason.!!" Calum half yelled at him. "Don't listen to him princess. You look very pretty." He said to his daughter.

"Boys are liers" she said looking down.

"If you don't believe your daddy. Go ask your mom" he said. Without saying anything Madison went to the kitchen to find her mom.

"Learn to respect your sister and stop being so sassy. You look like an idiot" Calum said to mason.

"Dad I love Madison. You don't even know but I tease her because I like it. Our bond is just like that. Teasing each other but I'm pretty sure she also knows that i dont mean all that i say to her and to be honest i love fighting with her." Mason spoke. Calum was shocked. He never thought mason would say something like that.

"Woahh... that was deep. Have you been talking to uncle Ashton a lot?" Calum said joking. Mason laughed.

"Dad can I ask you something?" The 6 year old boy asked.

"Yeah"

"I want to be a drummer just like uncle Ashton. So you think he will teach me?" Mason said.

"What? I thought you were taking your shoots seriously and wanted to become a model or something" Calum asked.

"No dad. You don't get it. I just do modelling to be around Madison and to protect her. I don't want to leave her alone" mason said softly avoiding calum's gaze. Calum couldn't believe what he heard. Just few minutes back both his children were ready to kill each other and now mason is speaking his heart.

"I'm very proud of you son. I didn't knew this and yes I'm pretty sure Ashton will teach you. Just ask him ok?" He said and mason nodded.

"I'm glad we had this man to man talk mr. Hood" mason said and stood up stretching his hand for Calum to shake. Calum couldn't stop but laugh. Suddenly Madison and Maddie entered the living room.

"My daughter looks very pretty. Who said she is not pretty" Maddie spoke and then they noticed Madison's red eyes. Calum mouthed 'say sorry' to mason. He walked to his sister.
Meanwhile Maddie grabbed Matt from Calum and started feeding him baby food.

"I'm sorry Madison. I didn't mean it when I said roasted bread to you. I mean you are......" Suddenly calum coughed signalling he is messing up but after a pause mason continued.

"You are my very pretty sister and you look beautiful. I'm sorry" mason said. He looked at her sister who smiled and said "it's ok"

"Okay so now that everyone is happy. We should go. Daddy is very hungry" Calum said and grabbed his car keys.

"Umm... Cal...?" Maddie said. Calum stopped and looked at her who was still feeding Matt.

"Ohh right. We will go when this little human is done with his dinner" Calum spoke. After Matt was done the Hoods went out for the dinner.
