chapter 10

Hannah's pov

"Umm... I like cara" he said. What? No I heard wrong . This can't be happening. I can feel my tears coming out. I can't cry in front of him. All my feelings all dreams everything just shattered. I thought he liked me but he still likes Cara. I can actually feel pain emotionally. It feels like someone has stabbed me in my heart. He was the only one I truely loved and he doesn't feel the same about me. I decided not to tell him anything because then he might not even want to be my friend. It is said that if you love someone let them be happy. And i guess his happiness is Cara. So I'll not come in between them. Ohh god this is so unfair.

"Ohh okay.. that's good" I managed to say trying hard not to cry.

"That's it? Do you think I should tell her?" He said looking at me. No you shouldn't say anything to her you idiot. I'm right here look at me. I wanted to hug him kiss him but no I can never do that.

"Yeah sure. Tell her." I said pretending to be happy.

"Thanks Hannah. I just wanted to share this with someone." He told me.

"Its cool. I'll go back to the room. Lily is waiting." I said getting up and trying to avoid his gaze so that he doesn't see my tears.

"Goodnight Hannah banana." He said smiling. I didn't replied and went straight inside. I passed michael's room and saw Lily having yet another argument with him. I know she won't come any time soon since their fight usually last for a long time. I went to my room locked it and cried. I just couldn't stop. I cried non stop for almost 15 minutes. So this is what feels like when someone breaks your heart. My eyes were now puffy and my face was red. Ashton made my face red again but this time it was not from blushing. I went straight to the bathroom and took out a blade. I was clean for the past two years because I never felt this much pain. I remembered how I was bullied. You are ugly, you are a slut, nobody likes you. The words said to me in high school were repeating. With that I made a cut on my wrist then another and then another. Soon there were 9 cuts. Blood was coming out and the sink was all red with my blood. I could feel the pain but it was nothing compared to the pain I was feeling inside. I loved Ashton and it was heartbreaking to know that he doesn't feel the same and instead likes another girl. Suddenly I heard a knock.

"Hannah are you in there? Why did you locked the door?" Lily was shouting. I quickly changed my top and wore a full sleeves t-shirt so that my cuts are not seen. I washed my face and unlocked the door. Lily's smile faded once she saw me.

"Are you crying?" She asked me, I could see she was worried. Yeah I'm. Your dickhead brother made me.

"No I just got a call from mom. I'm just missing my family." I replied not wanting her to know anything.

"Awww... we will be back soon" she said hugging me. I hope we go back soon. I don't want to be in the same house as Ashton anymore.

Calum's pov

I came back after hanging out with Maddie. I didn't realise I was there the whole day. I enjoyed a lot with her. As I entered the house I saw Lily, Ashton and Michael sitting on the couch watching tv. Hannah and Luke were nowhere to be seen.

"Hey guys" I said so as to get their attention on my new look.

"Holy fucking balls, you look so hot Calum.. I can make out with you right now" Lily said with her mouth open. I couldn't help but smile. I saw Michael and he had this disgusted look on his face. Was it because of Lily's comment? Was he jealous? Or he didn't like my hair?

"Wow.. it looks good on you" Ashton commented snapping me out of my thoughts.

"It suits you" Michael said with a weak smile. Damn boy. He is jealous because of the comment Lily made. I said thanks to them and made my way to my room. I couldn't stop thinking about Maddie. It's the closest I have been to any girl in such a short time. She is not like other girls. She doesn't do much make up and wears what she is comfortable in no matter if that's pyjamas. And she is also funny which is my favourite quality in a girl. I decided to text her.

After 2 minutes I got a reply from her.

Same.. wanna hangout tomorrow?? May be shopping?

Yeah sure..no prob :D I replied before going to sleep.

Lily's pov

I was now sitting alone. Ashton and Michael had gone to their rooms. I decided to drink vodka since I couldn't drink in front of my brother. I took out the bottle from the cabinet and drank the whole bottle in no time. I was feeling little dizzy so I decided to go back to my room before anybody could notice I was drunk. I went upstairs, when I saw michael's door was little opened. I looked inside and saw shirtless Michael. Fuck he looks sexy. Wait. He always looks sexy. I was so distracted looking at his body that I didn't noticed he had turned around.

"Like what you see?" He said smirking.

"Umm...no..yes..umm.. I mean..." I couldn't speak.

"Come inside" he spoke. I went inside his room. Can I hug him now? He looks so fine. No Lily you are drunk. Don't do anything. He is your brother's best friend. Shut up brain. Why am i talking to myself. There is a sudden urge in me to kiss him badly.

"Stay the night please. Cuddle with me" he said looking at me. Say no Lily. You can't sleep on the same bed with him. If Ashton got to know about this he will murder you. Say no.

"Yeah sure" I replied. Ohh my stupid heart. Next thing I know he picked me up bridal style and placed me on his bed. Pulled up the blanket and we started cuddling. This feels so good. I feel safe in his arm.

"I like you Lily. Will you go out with me tomorrow?" He whispered and I could see he was nervous. Ohh god I got goosebumps.

"Of course. And yes I like you too" I said smiling.

"How will Ash react ?" I asked him after a pause.

"Duh..I'm not scared of him." He replied. I looked up at him. "May be we shouldn't tell him" he said. Haha he is scared of him. I controlled my laughter. Soon we both slept cuddling to each other.
