*The Hemmings*

"LUKE ..!!" Cara shouted from the kitchen. She was making breakfast and also preparing milk for Caleb.

"LUKE.. wake her up. She will get late for school again" Cara shouted again. Then Riley came into the kitchen.

"Why aren't you ready? Where is daddy?" She asked her.

"Daddy is busy waking Isabella." Riley replied rubbing her eyes.

"Good morning caleb" Riley said kissing Caleb. Caleb looked at his elder sister with his blue eyes and smiled widely with no teeth.

"Why is your face wet?" Riley asked him. Caleb was trying to eat his fingers.

"Ohh you little monster.. that was your saliva..eww..eww..." Riley said cleaning her mouth.

"Sweety can you go and tell daddy to come downstairs?" Cara asked Riley. She nodded and ran up. Cara quickly grabbed Caleb and gave him his milk bottle. He has recently learned to hold his bottle by himself. She placed him on the couch when Luke came.

"Yeah babe?" He said. Cara ignored him and started cleaning the mess. There were toys scattered in the floor.

"Hello?" Luke said to get cara's attention. Caleb waved at Luke thinking he was saying hello to him. Caleb was also learning to wave his hand when someone says hello. This made Luke smile.

"Omg did you see Caleb just waved at me" he said excitedly.

"Luke he is being doing that more often now" Cara said rolling her eyes. Suddenly cara's phone started buzzing. She picked it up.

"Dad I can't find my pink shoes" Riley came into the room. She was ready for school.

"Where is your sister?" Luke asked Riley.

"Still sleeping" she replied and sat on the dinning table. Cara was still on the phone and gave Riley a glass of milk.

"Finish this" Cara whispered to Riley.

"Okay.. im gonna wake her again and I'll get you your shoes also. Ok baby girl?" he said and went upstairs. Isabella was a sleeper. Cara says that she still doubts if she is her daughter or lily's.

"Bella... you'll get late" Luke said shaking her.

"5 more minutes dad" Isabella said and covered herself with blanket.

"Ok sweety I'll call mom then" he said casually.

"No no.. I'm getting up" Isabella replied. It was better that Luke wakes her up rather than Cara.

"That's like my girl. Now get ready fast Bella. You have..." he looked at the clock.

"Holy shit.. 10 minutes..!!" Luke said panicking.

"Dad don't call me Bella in front of mom and don't worry the school bus won't leave me." She said sassily.

"Ok hurry up" Luke said and went downstairs. He saw that Cara was done talking on the phone and Riley was packing her bag.

"Riley you are good girl. See she got ready by herself" Luke said turning to Cara.

"Very good. You should give her a prize" Cara said sarcastically.

"Of course I will. What do you want baby?" Luke asked his daughter.

"Can we get a fish tank?." She asked her father.

"Sure honey" Luke replied and went to Caleb who had now almost finished his milk. Then Luke gave Riley her pink shoes and helped her wear them. Suddenly they heard school bus honking.

"Ohh God... isabella the bus is here. Come fast." Cara shouted. Riley ran out to the bus while isabella was still in shower.

"I can't freaking believe this girl" Cara said getting frustated. She went outside and told the driver to leave.

"Again late?" Mr. Mathew, asked.

"Yeah... sorry.. I'll try to get her ready on time" Cara replied.

"It's ok Mrs. Hemmings" Mr. Mathew said and the bus left. Riley waved her goodbye from the window. Cara waved back and give her a flying kiss.
When she entered the house she saw Isabella coming downstairs.

"I swear I was ready on time. I just couldn't find my books" she said.

"Yeah nice try" Cara rolled her eyes and picked Caleb.

"Mom I'm serious" Isabella said.

"It's fine. Go eat your breakfast. Your dad will drop you now" she said. Isabella nodded.

"And if you miss your school bus again you are not getting any pocket money" Cara said.

"What? Mom NO" Isabella said with her mouth open.

"Yes and after you are done eating. Go change your outfit. You are not wearing such a short skirt to school and clean your face because you are definately not wearing any makeup." Cara said in a serious tone. Isabella didn't dare to speak a word because she knows how her mother reacts when she is pissed.

"Je..jejabuba" Caleb started babbling.

"Aww... mumma didn't talk to you this whole morning. How is my Prince?" Cara said in a baby voice to Caleb. He replied in his own language. They both would usually talk to each other without understanding what the other one is saying.

"Ok..I'm ready..let's go Bella" Luke said coming downstairs and grabbed his car keys.

"First of all she will go and change her outfit and secondly she is not BELLA" Cara shouted.

"C'mon honey she is already late and if she will change she will get even more late and do you really want me get a speeding ticket" Luke said.

"Fine but at least wash your face" Cara said to Isabella. She groaned and went upstairs to wash off her make up. Meanwhile Luke took Caleb from Cara and started talking to him.

"Say Da-da" Luke tried to make Caleb say.

"Ja..nu..jebeja..." he replied.

"No baby you are not from some African tribe. Say da-da... ok say da-ddy" Luke said to Caleb. In return he didn't say a single word and rested his head on luke's shoulder. Cara was cleaning the kitchen when Isabella came downstairs.

"Bye mom" she said. Cara went outside and waved her.

"Luke...where are you taking caleb?" Cara asked running outside. Isabella sat on the passenger seat while Caleb was still in luke's arm.

"I'm taking him too. Listen babe you are stressing a lot lately. Just take rest and sleep. After dropping Isabella I'm going to michael's place. We have some important work so Caleb will be fine with Lily." Luke said.

"How will Lily handle four kids?" Cara asked him.

"She will call the Nanny or whatever. Besides Caleb is a quite baby and he likes to play with Amy and may so don't worry babe I'll be there" Luke replied and pecked her lips.

"Okay... bye.." Cara said and kissed Caleb.

"Don't be a trouble maker Mr. Junior hemmings and be a good baby. I don't want aunt Lily to complain" Cara said to Caleb. He started saying something in his language which made both Luke and Cara laugh.

"He will be speaking soon" Luke says kissing caleb's forehead.

"Yeah..he tries a lot" Cara replies.

"Mom dad I'm already late. Can you guys talk later?" Isabella shouted.

"Okay baby.... bye.. have fun." Cara said to Isabella. Soon Luke started the car and Caleb sat on isabella's lap with the seat belt around them.

"Don't you dare pee on me caleb" Isabella said to her little brother who was busy chewing his fingers. Soon they drove off and Cara went inside. After cleaning the kitchen and living room where the toys were scattered, she went upstairs to her room. She took a long relaxing shower and went to bed again.
