After a long time walking through the beautiful forests of Skyrim I arrived at Whiterun's stables, where the elegant and black horses were playfully kicking and running around. Walking past them I saw that the Khajiit Caravan had set up shop here for a while, glad to finally have the rare opportunity to speak to my race I approached them, and got an instant and welcoming reaction.
"J'zargo! Greetings, so nice to see you again, how can I assist?" My good friend Kharjo greeted me.
"Haha, very well thank you, glad to see your still here and that the Dragons haven't swooped down and taken you off yet"
"They may be big and fierce, but lucky for us, they don't seem to hunt along the roads, and I'm, as you know, the guard of this caravan, any creatures try to kill me or anyone else they will taste their blood on my blade and the sharpness of my claws!" Kharjo replied, laughing.
"Well it's good to see you anyway" He continued, "Need anything just ask me, I'm sure Ahkari could offer you a discount from anything you wish to buy as before, couldn't you Ahkari?" He smiled, turning to face the seller of the cavavan.
"Oh yes" Ahkari smiled at me, "I can offer a discount for such a handsome male Khajiit such as yourself" She said warmly, flicking her tail in appreciation. "And may I just say that your fur is as pale and pure as the snow that surrounds this cold and harsh land, and your markings as black as the coldest and darkest of nights"
"Oh Ahkari, your fur is the dark night, and your eyes the silver of the moon" I smiled, waving my tail in return. This had been going on for some time now, and we both knew that we had feelings for one another, but had never said anything. Waving her goodbye I then turned back to Kharjo to bid him farewell, and waved away the other two Khajiit, Zaynabi and Dro'marash, who had been hard at work tanning animal hides and chopping up wood for their fire. After bidding them all goodbye for the time being I headed up to the main gates of Whiterun, where I was confronted by a Guard.
"Sorry, Whiterun is off limits to travelers, there has been strange happenings at night, Dragon attacks, and we can't let anyone in at this time"
Having come all this way, and despite the fact that I had been here before, made me quite annoyed.
"Look, stand aside, or else..." I replied in a intimidating way, snarling and showing my sharp teeth.
"Well... Come on in, I can see your a strong Khajiit and can deal with people, but... Be careful, there has been some deaths over the past week, just brought in another body last night, we are having a Priest of Arkay examine it"
The Guard has sparked my interest, wanting to know more I asked the Guard one final question.
"What happened to the corpse?"
"From what we can see so far, is that every death here in the past week has had their throat torn open... And drained of their blood..."
