Namasur grins and nods, casting a spell and keeping it glowing in his palm whilst casting his eyes over the small fort. Once he is done he gives a signal to me where they are. 2 guards were by a post on the tower walls, 1 was guarding the door whilst 3 were out at the back at the small forge working on improving their weapons.

"Let me guess, a Detect Life spell?" I ask him.

"Yes, a very powerful one" He says, casting the spell again and placing his hand gently on my forehead. The magic seemed to enter my mind, allowing me to have a vision so that I could detect life around me, without the cost of having to cast it myself. My targets appeared to have a light blue shimmer around them, the light moved to the parts of the body that moved with it.

"Wow, I have never seen this spell or cast it myself, how did you learn this, or where?"

Namasur chuckles to himself, trying to be quiet he says

"Oh let's just say that we have a group of Vampires that have special skills in certain areas, one of those is a group of Necromancers and Mages that can combine magic to create bizarre and useful combinations to suit our needs, don't worry, simply cast the spell when you don't want it to be active"

I grin at him, "Well then, looks as if I will have some new spells to play with" I whisper before turning around to face my first target, a female Thalmor. She was stood by the castle door with her back turned, she must be examining the locks as she was on her knees with some equipment beside her on the floor, various tools crafted for locks were laid open in a box.

"Those could be a great advantage for me" I whisper as I hold my Ebony Dagger up to my chest and begin sneaking towards her, being careful to stay in the shadows and watch the eyes of the other guards.

Within a few moments I was beside her, silently gripping her mouth shut with my hand to muffle her screams as the blade dragged across her throat, cutting into her flesh and piercing the arteries. Blood squirted from her neck and ran down her armour, I removed my blade and laid her down next to the door so that she was hidden from sight. Lifting the blade up to my face I could smell the sweet but sickly smell of her blood. Grinning I licked the blade clean, the white fur around my mouth stained red...

'Only five more to go' I thought to myself as I placed my dagger back into my sheath. I stole the lockpicks and then grabbing my bow I spun around and pulled two arrows from my back and placed them on my bow, gripping them tightly I took aim at the two targets at the fort walls. They were mumbling to one another, barely even looking out for danger, pity. Closing one eye I took my shot, the two arrows whizzed through the air, one of them hitting the guard through the neck, the other through the head. I let out a relived laugh.

"Lucky shot" I call to Namasur gently, who had approached since the eyes that would have given us away had been silenced.

"Yes, very impressive" He says to me, before opening his hands, of which a flame appeared in each palm. "May I join you for the last fight?" He asks, eager to shed blood beside me.

I nod and grin, casting the Detect Life spell again, as I knew where my prey was. Readying my bow with another arrow. I climb up the stone walls and crouch on the edge of the structure, hidden by the shadow of a pillar that I was besides. Namasur was at the main wooden double doors that led around the back of the fort. Looking at me to give the command. With my eyes on a target, I took a running leap from the wall, in mid-air I drew my bow and aimed at a male guard, piercing the arrow through his chest. I tucked my body inwards and rolled onto the floor, quickly using my dagger to pierce his heart to make sure he was dead.

The moment that I had landed, Namasur had also ran through the doors and taken the other male out with a ball of fire to his body and head, causing him to writhe around in pain on the floor. The last one, another female, had an arrow pointed at Namasur's head.

"Stay back!" She yelled, drawing her bow even further. "I am warning you, stay back or I'll put an arrow through your friends skull!" She continued to shout, keeping her eyes on both of us.

I laugh and place my dagger back into my sheath, I nod at Namasur and he does the same. "Your no fun at all" I say to her, taunting her with that look in my eyes. "Why not draw your sword and have some competition to face, surely you can do that for me at least?" I ask, not daring to look away.

She stares at me, then her eyes move down to my mouth. Her eyes grow wide. "What, why... Why have you got blood on your lips? And why are you smiling like that? Your teeth... They, your..." She stutters, her bow now drooping to the ground.

Smiling once more I keep my eyes trained on her the entire time, I walk towards her slowly, not blinking. "What am I?" I say, opening my jaw wider so that my fangs show even more, the colour of my eyes now shimmering blood red with an inner bloodlust. "You tell me what I am" I say, gripping her head and tilting her neck back.

She doesn't move, she doesn't flinch, scream or struggle, she does nothing but close her eyes.

"Your... Your a Vampire" She whispers, her voice clear and calm. I grin and let out a small ragged breath of air. "Yes, but that's just half of what I am..." I say, before gripping her neck and giving her head a deadly turn to the side, breaking her neck and damaging her spine. I then lift her body from the ground and tear her head from her body. Raising her head into the air I let out a howling cry of triumph. I take her sword and stab it into the ground, then I mount her head of the handle, her face contorted into a horrific agonizing scream.

"Very nice way to display your power" Namasur says to me, observing the symbol that I was now cutting into her neck with my claws. It was the Vampire Lord symbol, I recognized it from when I was just a cub, on that bloody night when my parents were killed...

When I was finished with the display, I nodded to Namasur that we should head to the castle, for it was now dusk. Just as we were about to leave through the back entrance however, I heard the soft sound of slow clapping from above us.

"Very nice, well done to both of you, and you J'zargo, you will make a great addition to our clan" I hear a female voice, her voice was kind and soft, but her scent, it was... That of a Pure Vampire Lord...
