Blackness... Fire... A scream then a shout...

"No! Please! Save us!"

Building's passed by, burning with the red flame of Alduin's eyes...

I woke with a jolt, raising my clawed paw's I placed them on my forehead. I had a headache, it hurt like hell. I waited for the pain to cease, after a short while and thinking I was going to be ok I sat up, when an explosion set off in the back of my mind, falling backwards onto the bed I gripped my throat tightly, my throat was so sore, I was parched, and in desperate need of a drink. Looking around me I realized that I was lucky enough that the innkeeper had placed a jug of water at the bedside table, which I frantically reached over and grabbed, then proceed to drink.

After the pain had gone and the nightmare had been forgotten I put on my armor, noticing that it still had a bloodstain on it, I used the last of the water in the jug to clean up the dried blood off my bracer, then I headed downstairs. I must have slept a long time, as the drunken Nords from last night were still here, either they had fallen asleep on the chair's or collapsed on the benches, either way they weren't leaving anytime soon. The sun could be seen high in the sky through the hole in the roof, which was needed to let the smoke from the fire in the centre of the room out so it didn't become misty and un-breathable in here. Since it was afternoon I thought there was no time in trying to take a trip down to the camp just yet, after all, he did say meet him at dusk.

After buying a drink and some food I headed outside Whiterun to buy a horse, of which were the fastest in all of skyrim, or so I had heard, but also the most expensive. But money didn't matter to me, I have enough to buy more than five. Coming outside of Whiterun's gates I headed for the stables, upon arriving I met up with Skulvar Sable-Hilt, the person who owned Whiterun's horses. As I approached him he must have heard my footsteps, because he looked up at me from where he was sitting and asked

"Interested in buying a horse? I have many for sale, young and healthy, only 1000 gold"

Considering the price of the horse I decided to try and persuade Skulvar for letting me buy the horse for half the price, I needed to buy some more Ebony Arrows and although I had money that would take others 10 lifetimes to add up, I didn't want to spend it un-necessarily.

"How about half the price my good friend? 500 gold is sure worth all your hard work rather than 1000, a bit pricey don't you think?"

Looking at Skulvar's face I could tell my words had taken effect. Smiling to myself, as I take pride in my Speechcraft, I waited for him to answer.

"Ahh J'zargo, of course, anything to help a good friend" I handed him the gold, Skulvar smiled and pointed whilst saying "Take the strong black one over there, the one with the saddle, he is a strong horse and isn't afraid to help you if your in trouble"

Thanking him I walked over to the horse, who's deep black eyes looked at me with curiosity, I approached the horse cautiously, as I didn't want to be kicked if he had a short temper. In the end I managed to reach the horse without frustrating the animal, he was very friendly but he seemed to have something about him, a certain depth in his eyes. Hosting myself up onto the saddle I reached down and whispered in his ear, "Shall I name you Shadow?" A neigh from the horse was a sign that he liked it. "Very well Shadow" I said gripping the rains, "Let's head off"

The last sight that anybody saw was a Khajiit and his new steed, Shadow, heading off into the distance as the sun started to sink lower and lower into the sky.
