The mysterious woman jumped down from the fort walls, standing before us she removed her hood from her face and smiled. She had shoulder length black hair that was braided at the front, drooping down the side of her face. She wore what I would have presumed to be Vampire Lord Armour, along with the set of Vampire Boots that Namasur wore. Her complexion was pale and her features were stunning, her eyes seeming to gleam with an inner fire and life that I had failed to notice in Namasur, her cheekbones set into her face perfectly, bringing out her beauty and young self.

"Finally you have arrived, we have been waiting for so many years" She said, holding her hand out to me. "My name is Serana, nice to meet you" She said quietly. I bow and lower my head, taking her hand and kissing her hand softly in respect. When I had done, I removed my hand from hers and stood up.

"Nice to have finally met you, it's an honour" I reply, not taking my eyes away from hers. She continues to smile and nods, before turning to Namasur. I smile to myself, finding it rather amusing that a Vampire could be so... Joyful.

"Thank you for bringing J'zargo to us, you have done well, my farther will be sure to reward you" She says, reaching inside her cape she pulled out a flask, but not the clear glass one that Namasur had used, it was rather strange but uniquely shaped. Similar to a sphere but with gold patterning around the side of the bottle, a cork was placed in the top and the colour of the bottle was red, I presumed that it was blood.

"Here, for your troubles" She said, handing it over to Namasur before looking back at me.

"You must be starving after your travels, follow me, your time has come" Serana said, raising her hood and heading for the castle that I could see across the sea. I started to walk, but then became aware of the words that Serana had said. Even though I had just fed not a few moments ago, my inner desire to drink the blood of a Pure Vampire made my stomach growl with hunger. I gripped my side in pain but continued to walk.

We reached the edge of the land, the sea spreading out before us, making the world seem so vast and distant. A small dock and boat was tied to the land at the far left, gently bobbing up and down as the smooth waves crashed into the sand. Serana un-tied the rope from the wooden pole and cast it into the boat, picking up the ores she sat down and got ready to row us to the Castle.

"Allow me Serana, it is not the duty for someone such as yourself to be doing this" Namasur said, picking up the ores and sitting in the seat opposite her. I climbed in and sat in the middle, facing the direction that we were heading.

"Very well" Serana replied, "You may proceed" She said, giving a nod of her head and a warming smile.

Serana gave a push with her boot on the shore and Namasur began to row, the waves lapping against the wood as they swam through the cold water.

As we rode onward further into the distant world that was the sea, the great Castle Volkihar loomed above us. It's great stone walls loomed above us as we came closer. The further we came to it's shore, the more the Castle grew in size, it seemed as if the walls were curving to greet us, it's massive stone structures folding in on themselves.

"Rather amazing, isn't it?" I hear Serana say from behind me. Turning around I smile.

"Yes, I would imagine that it has been here for many hundreds of years, considering that stories of your Father have been around for far longer" I reply, looking her in the eyes.

Serana nods but then begins to stare into my eyes, as if she knew who I was... But that was impossible, even though my childhood memory started with fire and blood, and the vision of Harkon standing over me as I lost my sight, I don't recall seeing her, but I might be mistaken...

'Should I ask her?' I thought to myself, lowering my eyes to the wooden floor. However before I could even raise my head, Serana spoke again.

"You don't remember anything from your past, do you?" She asked, holding her hand out to raise my head so she could look me in the eyes.

"No..." I whisper, not daring to make eye contact.

She lowers her hand and her eyes avert to the ocean, the gentle breeze making her hair flutter in the wind.

"Your mothers eyes were ocean blue" Serana says in a relaxed tone. "Your farther's were honey brown, just like the forests of Falkreath to the south" She continues, looking back at me again.

I raise my head, my eyes cold and glazed over as i look at her. "How do you know?" I ask, my tone frozen.

"I was with my Father when the Vampires that killed your parents decided to turn on you before Harkon managed to kill them, otherwise you would have suffered the same fate as your family did" She said, her eyes held a tear before she spoke again. "I held your mother and farther in my arms as I tried my best to heal them with the magic that I had, but the injuries sub-stained to their throats and bodies were too great to be treated in time" She said, turning her head to look me in the eyes, her expression of utter regret at not being able to save them in time.

I shake away the thoughts of anger and smile at her gently.

"My mother had blue eyes and pure honey fur, like the colour of my farther's eyes, but his fur was as white as the snow, so different but yet they loved one another" I say, my expression happy that I was able to remember them.

"Thank you for trying to do what you could, it fills me with relief to know that they saw a kind face before they passed" I finish saying, as the boat came to a stop on the shore. Turning around I gazed upon Castle Volkihar at a closer range, the fort looking much more mighty.

"We have arrived" Namasur stated, flashing me a smile. "Welcome to your salvation, J'zargo".
