It's my birthday today and I think shawn has forgotten completely, I know it's what a boyfriend shouldn't do but I don't blame him, he's always working, and having to travel, so it's not his fault. He comes home stressed and tired, I would rather let him have sleep than keep him awake to say 'shawn it my birthday'. When I arrive home it's absolutely quiet as normal, no one is home at day and then it's only me from 6-10am. Once I've washed and gotten changed, I go down stairs to get something to eat. I start to hear creaking noises, so I leave my half down sandwich on the kitchen island and walk in to the sitting room that appears to be a cave of darkness as there are no lights on at all.
When I step in, I get the fright of my life when, *click* the lights switch on and there stands every one of our neighbours, every one of our workers, every one of our friends, almost all of our family's and the man that seems to be the cause of this situation, Shawn. Then I realise there's balloons and different party banners and stuff, Wow. Shawn walks up to me "happy birthday baby" "happy birthday baby" not realising what I'm saying baby as I look around in the state of awe, so I mimic what I had heard. "I mean, Shawn, your meant to be at work" "I got the day of to come set this of with a few peoples help" he says directing his hand over everyone who stood in what now seems to be small sitting room. "Baby, this is amazing, thank you" I kiss him. "My pleasure baby, I know I haven't been giving you attention and I'm sorry" "don't, don't you dare be sorry" I say in a soft but demanding voice. He kisses me and turns around "LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED" he's the best person anyone could love.
