Best day ever

Today Shawn and Daisy and I are going to a theme park. Daisy's always wanted to go but we were scared for her safety, just wanting to make sure she's safe and that she won't get hurt at all. With her superman daddy holding her hand, we are sure she won't get lost or run away quick enough for her daddy not to catch her.
Every time she asks to go to a certain ride you could see the adoration she has for her father through her beautiful brown eyes, just like her daddy's. It's very easy to tell that they are related, most of their features are exactly the same. "Daddy, daddy, daddy" she says whilst jumping up and down, pulling on Shawn's sweater sleeve.
He looks down at her with that oh so familiar glow in his eyes "what honey?" He says sweetly "can we pweeeeaasseee go on da spwinning twea cups, pweeasee daddyyyy" she answers with her childish blubber forming into almost the right words. "Sure sweetie" he takes takes my hand, softly into his, making shivers go up my arm and butterflies flutter in my stomach, I don't thing I'll ever get used to him being so cute and down to earth.
"Come on baby, it's time to go now" he says, picking up a moany Daisy, who as much as she decides to deny is drowsy as heck.
When we finally got back home, she was asleep in her car seat, and rushed quickly up into her bedroom. "That was the best day of her life, I bet" Shawn says when we're getting into bed "did you see her face, when she saw a new ride. She's the best" "yep" I say agreeing with both his statements. I turn off the light to hear him still chatting. "And when she didn't want to go, and she was basically dragging herself to a new ride, like a snail." He chuckles to himself "I love you both so much, you know that?" he says in an exhausted voice. "Yeah, I know, I love you both so much too" afterwards we fell asleep, me wrapped in his arms, best day ever.
