Goodbye

Laughing is a part of life, you live, love and die, that's my saying, and so far I'm living, I'm in love and I'm dying. My love is with a boy named Shawn, he loves to sing and he has the heart of gold, he's the most amazing man I've ever had in my life, I don't doubt that because my father left when I was a little girl and I don't I think or love him one ounce, not one piece of my heart is devoted to him. Shawn's older than me, which is something I've always wanted in a man, and he's tall and super sweet. Shawn meet me when I was at the shopping center with my family, he says and reminds me everyday that he loved me from the moment he saw me, which flatters me because back then I was bold, the reason being, because I have cancer and I've been doing chemo for many years. Now it comes to the part of dying, recently I have gotten worse. The cancer has come back worse than ever, and I'm now stuck in hospital because it seems every time I get to go home to Shawn, I get critically ill and I end up coughing up blood. I can see it hurts Shawn, it scares him that I won't last long. " how's my queen doing today ?" Shawn asks as soon as he enters my room "your queen is good" I manage to say in my weak voice.  

  "I brought you some stuff from Tim Hortons" he says in a joyful voice "AWWW, thank you my King" he's amazing. Shawn and I sat talking for ages, the room filled with laughter and a comforting atmosphere, but I'd not been fully comfortable, as almost the whole time I'd been feeling a great pain inside my chest, and because I'd never felt the pain before I didn't know whether it was important enough, but now I know I should have made an importance to it, because in seconds I was finding it hard to breath and shaking uncontrollably in the hospital bed. Shawn ran out of the room shouting in horror "HELP, PLEASE, HELP I NEED A DOCTOR, PLEASE MY GIRLFRIEND SHES DYING, SHE CANT BREATH, HELP PLEASE " Shawn was running in and out no knowing what to do with himself. "Stay calm Mr. Mendes, please wait outside" I heard a nurse speak to Shawn, soon I heard the door shut and all the attention was on me.
Once I'd stopped having a fit I heard the nurses discussing that I can't do it anymore, it's the time to go. "We'll let you have some time with your boyfriend " I hear them say over my panting, I nod, with tears streaming down my face. Shawn soon appeared by my bedside "I can't live without you" he says with tears rolling out of his eyes "yo-uh-ll b-ee finn-uhh" I say through big breaths. "Goodbye" I say feeling my eyes start to close "it's never goodbye" I hear him say "never, you'll always be in my heart" and you'll always be in mine I think.
