I've been a Shawn girl since I was a teen and yes I've started my own life with my boyfriend but Shawn is very much still in my life. Me and my boyfriend have a child together she's 3 years old and she is obsessed with Shawn, thanks to me. It's the best thing in the world, me and my daughter always have something to connect with each other with, it's also good because it annoys my boyfriend, I know right that's totally mean, but what can I say, mean is my middle name.
Today I'm taking y/d/n to her first ever concert, she's dressed up in her winter clothes; grey beanie, Shawn Mendes top, plaid shirt, white puffer jacket, grey jeans and her Jordan's.
We're on our way there and y/d/n hasn't stopped jumping up and down in her car seat since we turned on Shawn album, she is singing every lyric she can, some coming out slurred making it adorable to watch.
Soon we arrive there and hundreds of girls and boys are talking and singing with one another, some taking selfies in groups, some posting up on social networking sites it was all a bit of a manic sight for y/d/n's mind to focus on properly.
We are now in our seats and Shawn is singing 'something big' his voice so amazing, I can't believe it. I look over at y/d/n and see her smiling and waving her arms about whilst singing and trying to dance in her daddies arms. "Sonting big I feel it hwppenwing, outta me contwol" I adore my daughter, I can't wait to see her reaction when we meet him later.
