Chapter 8- Reconciliation

Kaneki gazed down at Jason's misshapen form, he had an incomplete-kakuja, a broken mind, a tormented soul. Jason was the reason why he was insane, why he hated himself, everything wrong in his life was brought back by the torture that Jason had brought onto him years ago. He wanted revenge oh so badly, he wanted to tear him limb from limb, devour him, rid this world of his foul presence.

Jason emitted a strangled sound, he shoved Kaneki back a few meters and while he was regaining his balance Jason moved to strike him with what would have been a devastating right hook to his head if Kaneki didn't slip under the punch and hit him several times in the stomach, winding his opponent.

Jason stumbled back from the force delivered by the punches and dropped stepped to stay stable, he leaped at Kaneki like a wild animal and swung with his overly large kakuja limb, but this was caught with both of Kaneki's arms and torso, stopping Jason in his tracks. Jason yelled out, frustrated that he was stopped. He tore away from Kaneki's grasp and moved to kick, punch, and strike Kaneki, but every time he did, Kaneki easily blocked and hit home a rapid punch quickly after, before blocking Jason's efforts once more.

Crack! Snap! Jason's ribs shattered under the power behind Kaneki's blows, his kakuja armour being torn apart.

Jason reared back, putting his full weight into a punch, carrying himself into what would have been Kaneki, but he stabbed Jason body in his shoulders and thighs with his rinkaku tentacles and flipped, over Jason, landing behind him. He ripped his tentacles out of Jason, shredding apart his muscles, he pressed his arm into Jason's neck and kicked the back of his knees, forcing Jason to land on his knees, back arched as Kaneki choked him without remorse.

He stopped and kicked Jason into the concrete street, he put his foot on his head, grinding it against the cobblestone, relishing in the sounds of pain and discomfort. He knelt down onto Jason's back and grabbed his kakuja limb, ripping it off as Jason screamed out in pain. Kaneki bit into the tentacle. Nothing had ever tasted as disgusting yet so sweet at the same time, he tossed the remaining tentacle to the side.

He pierced Jason's back, making his kagune cut up and down the armour, destroying the kakuja. Jason yelled, he cried, but Kaneki didn't dare stop.

"What is one-thousand minus seven?"

Jason turned his head and groaned. "Fuck you, I will not lose."

Kaneki smirked, throwing his head back in laughter, he pierced Jason's eye with his rinkaku, relishing in revenge. "What. Is. One-thousand, minus, seven?" He spoke softly, in effort to break Jason even further.

"N-n-nine h-hundred ninety s-seven." Jason rasped, giving up completely.

Kaneki grinned, nothing had ever sounded better. He dove into the kakuja armour, eating it loudly, smacking his lips as he did. Kai woke to the sounds of yelling, he stared at Kaneki in shock, disturbed by what he was seeing. Jason was unrecognizable, all of his kakuja devoured, Kaneki sitting on Jason's back, smiling to himself eerily.

"What the hell..." Muttered Kai to himself.

Kaneki poised his rinkaku to stab Jason in the head, about to finish the torture, about to complete his path of revenge.

"Kaneki! Wait! We need him!" Shouted Kai, in effort to stop the murder, they needed him for information, as much as Kai wanted Kaneki to have his vengeance, Jason was an executive of Aogiri, so he should have quite a bit of information of recent plans, Ayato knew a lot, but nothing new since he had been uninvolved for a while.
