Sky Leaf Pride...

Over the years, many changes were made in the Sky Leaf Pride. Mother and father both step down from the crown making me the new Queen. I also got married and have two beautiful cubs, son and daughter.

Life so far here has been great.

"Mommy!"

"Yes, Chipo?"

I roll over on my left side with a yawn. It's early morning.

"Can me and Messina go out and play?" My son asks.

"Yeah, if your father goes with you."

I hear a groan on my right side.

"Daddy, can you come with us pleaaaaaase?" Whines Messina, my daughter.

A second groan happened. I watch my husband curl up in a big ball with his eyes covered. I took my paw tapping his head.

"Kibwe, wake up! It's your turn to go with the cubs today." I said.

"Okay. Just give me five more minutes..." He yawned.

I look down at our cubs and smirk. "Jump on him!"

"Yaaaay!!" They scream.

Chipo and Messina ran up pouncing on their dad with laughter. Kibwe woke up  clueless laying on his back.

"Hey, what's going on?"

"Come on dad! Me and Messina want to go play." Said Chipo.

Messina nods. "Yeah, mommy said you have to watch us."

Kibwe roll over on his belly and look at me with a "Really?" expression.

"Yes." I nod. "I have important duties to do today anyway."

"Okay, I'll take them."

"Yaaaay!!" The cubs cheer.

Chipo and Messina ran out the den together with Kibwe slowly walking behind them.

"Have fun on dad duty!" I chuckle.

Kibwe roll his eyes. "Yeah, yeah."

The den is now quiet, they're officially gone. I lay my head back down over my front paws closing my eyes.

Peace at last...

"Queen Ama!"

What is it now?

I raise up my head opening one eye. "Yes?"

"There's someone here! She claims she knows the Queen. But we don't want to let her in, in case if it's an set up." Said a pride lioness.

"Bring her to me."

The lioness nod and left out the den.

Who would know me outside of the pride?

The lioness comes back with a younger one behind her. She steps aside so I can see better.

"Ama?" She questions.

"It's Queen Ama." I corrected. "Who are you?"

"Oh my gosh, Ama it's me. Zawadi!"

"Zawadi?"

She nods her head with a big smile.

I try to remember.

Zawadi...Zawadi...

Then it hit me.

ZAWADI!

My sister has returned and alive!

I got up quick on my paws and hug her smiling. "Sister!"

She hugs me back giggling.

"I thought you were dead. The day me and the others lost you...I blame it on myself a long time."

"No Ama, it isn't your fault. It's okay that's the past. I'm here now."

I circle around her. "Man, look at you. You've grown so beautifully! Your like an reflection of mother almost. Wait until she sees you."

Zawadi jumps up and down like a cub. "I can't believe your Queen now!"

We both make girly squeals.

"Any cubs yet?"

"Yup two and I'm also married."

"Oh Ama.."

Zawadi cries a tear. I hug her again.

"We've both grown so much over the years." She said. "Now we're back as a family again."

I rub my head against hers, the both of us purring.

"So, when can I meet the Cubs?" She asks out of no where.

"They're out with their father. They should be back shortly." I said sitting.

"Cool. Girls or boys?"

"One boy, one girl."

"Adorable!"

"Who's the lucky guy to marry ya?" Zawadi smiles, punching my shoulder.

I look down at my paws.

Should I tell her?

Nah not yet...

"Um, you'll see when he comes back."

"Look at you making surprises!"

I laugh.

What am I going to do?

If Zawadi finds out that I married Kibwe, she is going to spazz...

I remember the two being close when we were Cubs...

But everyone had  moved on after Zawadi's missing absence...

Now that she is back, this could mean trouble...

Zawadi is going to hate me...
