2014; Janie's POV: I've had a lot of ups and downs since winning AGT. I released a cover album. I covered songs like "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey, "Thriller" by Michael Jackson, and obviously "Space Oddity" by my dad. I had to give the live show to Taylor Williamson though. My health's been declining. I did a small tour, but was too weak to complete it. I've barely been out of the hospital. I don't know how much longer I can do it though. I want to give up. My dad makes me want to keep going though, I don't know what to do. My brother came back with stuff from my P.O. box. I think this is the last time. I don't want to live anymore. I started cutting again, secretly, though. I kept going through the fan mail as usual, when I came upon one letter in particular that caught my attention. It was from a 6 year old girl, who has lung cancer too. She said how much I inspire her to keep going. Before she saw me on AGT, she barely spoke, ate, and was so weak, like I am now. When I was diagnosed and kept going in the competition, she kept improving, and now she's almost in remission. I tested up reading the letter. "I'm gonna do this." I said. "That's my girl." Dad said. I grabbed my notebook and wrote a reply to the little girl. I wanted to make sure hers was done first. After I finished, I started working on my song again. I plan on my next album being all originals, no matter how long it takes. I'm working on a song called "Wasted 'N Wounded" right now. Let's do this...
