Janie's POV: Dad crossed "Show Janie snow" off his bucket list. We traveled to my parents apartment in New York City for Christmas. Apparently I was born here and haven't set foot in this place since I was two or three, which explains why I don't remember it. I understand why people love snow. It's so cool actually getting to see it in person now. I probably sound like a complete idiot, but in L.A. it's either a drought or flooding there's no in between! I was sleeping when I felt someone shake me. "It's Christmas get up!" I heard my dad say like a child. I groaned and wiped my eyes as I sat up. "You used to do this when you were little." He said. "And I guess this is your revenge." I groggily said. He laughed. I didn't bother changing out of my Pikachu onesie and followed my dad to the living room. My mom handed me my penguin mug filled with coffee and we all sat by the Christmas tree. My dad handed me the first present. I opened it. A Pikachu pillow. I snuggled it. It was so soft. They continued taking turns handing me presents. Dad handed me the last one. I opened it. It was a white dress. Dad just walked away after that. "You're gonna cross another thing off his bucket list. Let's get ready." Mom said. I was still confused. She took me to my room. I got into the dress. Mom did my makeup and hair. She topped it off with a white flower crown. I was still confused as ever. She walked my down the stairs, where I saw my dad in a grey tux. I was still confused. "What's going on here?" I asked. Mom handed me a small white bouquet. I was putting the pieces together. Dad was going to "walk me down the aisle". I went over to him. We locked arms and he opened the door. It was still snowing. There was a white "carpet" leading to a white flower arch with a pastor there. My family was here too. I held me tears back as dad walked me "down the aisle". We stood in front of the pastor. I completely zoned out for the next 5 minutes I think. I started crying. Dad held me close to his chest. I was a blubbering mess. All I heard was the pastor say "I now pronounce you daddy and daughter." Dad kissed my cheek as I was still crying. Thank goodness the makeup I do own is waterproof. We walked back into the house and the family followed. We had a small "reception". When everyone left, I started crying again. I don't want to lose my dad...
