Every night, kids are forced to come to me. Every parent, every night, it's always "Son, go to sleep!" "Daughter, go to sleep!" Like, no! Don't go to sleep! Sleep has feelings too-- I have feelings too-- and I don't wanna have to deal with your kids either! They're annoying and loud and never run out of energy. I'm like the babysitter who never gets paid.
A babysitter's job is to make sure the kids are occupied so they don't do anything brash and/or stupid. So, to keep the kids occupied, I give them Dreams. It usually calms them down and busies them up to the point where they can be controlled. A few kids refuse to have the Dreams, but there's such a small amount of those kids that I can deal with all them.
Now some kids tear right through Dream after Dream and still refuse to calm the fuck down. Haha, well I have a special treatment for those kinda of kids. Never piss off the man who controls the Dreams. I could always just conjure up all your greatest fears and anxieties into one, giant, looming Nightmare. If that doesn't shut a kid up, I don't know what the hell will.
The point of this is that, when your kid comes crying to you about a bad Dream, that's because he was being a disrespectful piece of shit.
Hugs and tickles,
Sleep:))
