Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.

She wakes up, in a bed.

She looks around, not knowing where she is at first.

A hospital.

She has a wristband on that has her name and birthdate on it.

She looks around, only finding her mom sitting in a chair in the corner of the room.

Her eyes are red, she had been crying.

'Mom?' she asks.

'Hey, you're awake.'

'No kidding.'

'What's the last thing you remember?'

'I- I had one foot off the chair, that's it.'

'Lizzy came in, and yelled...'

*FLASHBACK*

Suddenly she hears the door open.

Lizzy comes in.

She screams and starts crying, seeing her get the rope ready.

'Stop! Please!'

'Lizzy go away!' she screams, mascara running down her face.

'No! Stop it!' she yells, grabbing the rope.

'STOP IT!! YOU'RE RUINING EVERYTHING!' she cries.

'No! No give it to me! No one wants me here! Give it!' she screams, crying.

She faintly remembers her mom calling 911. After that she blacked out.

'Your sister saved you.' her mom says.

'I don't want to be saved. I'm saving myself by doing it. Putting myself out of my misery.'

She then lays down and falls back asleep.

She squints at the sun coming in the hospital room.

She looks around and sees her mom asleep on a chair.

The nurse comes in, making sure not to wake her mom.

'Well good morning.' the nurse says cheerfully.

'I'm Sarah, your nurse.'

'Hi.' she says, still waking up.

'Are you hungry?' she says, looking at some papers.

'No.' she says.

'You need to eat. You need to get better. But I won't force you.' she says, giving her a sympathetic smile.

'How long am I here for?' she asks.

'Until Saturday sweetie.'

'What's today?'

'Monday, we want to keep an eye on you to make sure you won't try anything like that again.'

'I'm tired.' she says.

'Your mom said something about a visitor coming soon, you might want to be awake.'

'Uggghh.' she groans, stuffing her face into the pillow.'

'Someone named Dani she said.'

'Really?' she wonders how Dani's been.

'How long til she gets here?' she asks Sarah.

'A few minutes I think.'

'Ok. What can I do here?'

'You can watch TV, do whatever.'

'Can I have my laptop please?' she says, gesturing over to the table where her laptop sits.

'No. Of course not. Looking through that stuff isn't going to help you.'

'I'm starting to begin to think you're not all that cool anymore.' she says. Sarah was really pretty. She was really young.

She had beautiful bright blue eyes and blonde hair down to her shoulders with pretty curls.

She had light makeup, mainly just consisting of some mascara and eyeliner.

The door opens and Dani slowly walks in.

'Hey.' she says.

As soon as Dani sees her, tears fill her eyes.

She breaks down and hugs her cousin.

'I'm so glad you're ok.' she says through muffled tears.

And for once, she feels that Dani means it.
