The Anger

'I'm sorry.' her mom says, almost crying. 'But you have to.'

'I just can't. I can't go back.' she says.

'You have to go.'

'I can't. Especially not without her. I can't face them.'

'It'll be ok.'

She reluctantly steps into the car and closes the door.

Her mom drives, and drives, until they reach the most dreaded place.

School.

'Have a good day.' her mom says and she gets out and closes the door.

She walks in, trying to hold in tears, trying not to let these people see her weak, and see her crumble.

'Hey, where's the other alien?' one asks.

'Where's the freak twin?'

'Finally, that bi*ch is dead.'

'Aw, she killed herself because no one would f*ck her.'

They all say mean things.

How could they say this about someone right after they die?

Jamie and her crew walk up.

'Aw, the freaky twin is dead? Well, she deserved it. She was such a wh*re. She was such an attention seeker it wasn't even funny.' she says.

She doesn't even remember the rest.

All of a sudden, she is on top of Jamie, and punching her in the face.

Her nose is bleeding, and everyone is surrounding them.

Jamie's friends are staying away. Jamie's designer handbag sits on the floor.

Everyone starts taking out their phones, trying to record it.

Jamie was the most popular girl in school.

She gives her another punch to the nose, right before she feels someone attempting to pry her off of Jamie.

She then realizes she was crying.

A lot.

Tears ran down her cheeks, her face red with anger.

And there goes even more of a good reputation she no longer had.

'No! Let me go!' she screams and kicks, as the person drags her away.

She then finds herself sitting in the principal's office, her cheeks still wet from the tears.

'So, you wanna tell me why you did it?' the principal asks, sitting down in a swivel chair on the opposite side of the large desk.

She just sits there, arms crossed, slouching.

She holds an angered face, looking in a different direction.

She doesn't answer, just sits.

'Hello? Tell me.' he urges, but she doesn't move.

She sits there for a few minutes, not moving as he pleads for her to reply.

Eventually he calls her mom, and she comes to pick her up.

'Why?' she gets asked again, this time by her mother.

She stares out the window, anger still taken over her face.

'I don't like seeing you like this.' her mom says, tears at the brim of her eyes, close to spilling over.

'Well I don't like being like this, but words hurt, and they can do a lot.' she says, anger taking over. 'Do you think I asked to be like this? I don't want to be this way! I wish I was a normal girl, with normal friends, and a normal boyfriend! Not where whatever friends I have commit suicide and it becomes a normal thing! I wish I could be the perfect, normal daughter you dreamt of, but I can't be! Lizzy will just have to do.'

Her mom pulls into the driveway and she gets out of the car and walks in a different direction, walking away.

Her mom doesn't want to argue, she feels sorry for her because of what she's going through and arguing will just make it worse.

'Where are you going?' her mom asks.

'On a walk. I just need to be alone.' she says, continuing to walk, not even looking back at her mom standing in the driveway.

'Ok, don't be back too late.' she says, and with that, her mom goes inside and she's left alone to think.
