The Guy

School.

The place she's going back to, and dreading every second of it. Again.

She walks in, but something's different. There's no little snickers here and there, or people saying mean things, or bumping into her. She feels...normal. It feels weird. Why isn't anyone being mean to her? They aren't necessarily being super nice, but they certainly aren't being mean for once.

She feels so confused. Maybe they just didn't notice her or something. She looks around, her eyes stopping when they fall on Jamie, the mean one. The one she punched in the halls. The meanest person to her on planet earth. Jamie looks over at her, but wait, is she, smiling at her? She couldn't be. But she was. She waves at her, and then continues to walk. She actually felt, normal.

She walks to her first class, looking down at her shoes, until she feels someone ram into her and she falls to the ground.

Ouch.

She looks and sees that he fell too.

"Hi. I'm so sorry." he says, helping her up. He's kinda cute.

"It's ok, really. I really need to look where I'm going." she says, feeling like a clutz.

"It's my fault. I'm in such a hurry to get to class, I wasn't paying attention." he says, picking up the books they dropped. Ok, so he's really cute.

He had dark brown hair, that was kind of long and up, (like Louis Tomlinson's)

"Here, these are yours I assume." he says, handing her books to her.

"Thanks." she says. She feels something. Something she's never felt before. She felt...butterflies. She's never felt that before, about anyone or anything. She's always been so guarded off.

"I'm Jace." the boy smiles, flashing his flawless teeth. He holds out his hand to shake hers.

She shakes his hand, trying to hold in her excitement and butterflies. She felt on top of the world.

"What's your name?" he asks expectantly.

Just then the bell rings, and she snaps out of her daydream.

"S-sorry, got to get to class." she says, fumbling with her books and walking away, leaving Jace in confusion.
