"I didn't think you'd be able to do it." he steps closer to me, breathing against my forehead.
"Now can you let me go?" I ask, too hopeful. "I mean, I did what you wanted."
"You volunteered yourself, and you can't leave now. We're getting to the good part." Ian grins.
"What?"
"You'll see." he grabs my hand forcefully and pulls me to the stairs.
I try to follow at his pace so I don't get bruises again but he pushes me into the room that I've been forced to grow fond of. I'm thrown to the hardwood floor and he locks my wrists back to the window. "You should trust me now, you know." I try to look at him. "I proved to you that I wouldn't leave. The least you could do is not lock me up."
He grabs my throat and pulls my hair with his free hand. I feel my throat close up and my blood boils as I begin to cough. "Don't talk to me as if you're doing me a favor." he grunts. "Now sit the hell down before I throw you out this window." he pushes me down after countless attempts of getting him off of me but it's hopeless.
I hear the click of the lock and I'm attached to the window just like every other night. Ian points a finger towards me until I hear Kelly in the hall calling for him. She walks in, taking Ian's hands after watching me struggle in the corner of the small room.
"Come on." she pulls him, locks the door and I'm left crying the in dark of night.
Katherine's POV
"It's you, from the woods." I laugh at the small world and remember that I still don't know his name.
"Yeah, sure." he looks away from me, watching the car that's waiting for me. "I think someone wants you."
I feel my stomach drop randomly and I hold myself before standing up. The sky has grown dark very quickly since waiting on the bench and now all I want to know is the stranger's name. "I'll go when I know who you are."
"How will you knowing my name change anything?" his eyes dart my body and I find myself feeling weaker by the second. I sit back down and clutch my stomach, wondering how much I ate during bowling. "You okay?" he takes a step closer and I feel his eyes burning through me. Suddenly the air becomes hot and I lurch forward, emptying my dinner on the pavement.
"Woah, okay." I think I hear the stranger say between my hurling and he lets me finish before pulling me slowly up to him. "Okay, lets get you in that car." he tries to pull me forward but my mind feels dizzy and my stomach won't stop turning.
"Oww" I cry and squeeze my eyes shut. I pinch myself to try releasing some of the sudden pain but my whole body is shutting down. My anxiety rises as I remember the memories of what happened that night, and how my body wasn't itself then and it isn't now. I've never been one to get sick that often, so something has to be going on.
I feel the stranger lift me up to him and my legs hang lifelessly as I try wrapping my arms around his neck for support. "Where..." I try to ask for David but the temperature changes once I'm inside the car. Cold air hits my skin, making me feel a bit better but I feel food making it's way out again.
"Do you know where the nearest hospital is? I mean...do you think that's where she should go?" I hear the voice ask someone.
"I don't know man, I'm just a driver." I hear someone growl and I quickly open the door to release my insides onto the road again. I cry again and try to lie down on the small space in the car.
"Alright damn it. Find an emergency room." I hear a door shut too loudly and can't help but notice that my stranger is in the car with me.
