Jacob's POV

I was so exhausted after last night. I overslept and woke up around 11 pm. I decided to go for a walk with the guys.

"Hey man, your girl's party was crazy man!" Dawson says. I nod. It was for us ;).

I lit a cigarette and we chilled in the park. Man, I didn't have a smoke in a while. I took a deep, long puff and blew the smoke out swiftly.

I noticed black truck pull up I new that truck anywhere. It was the Cougs. "Hey guys." I call to them. They stand up and look at the car.

They pull up and Skinner and his guys get out the car. I can see that ass hole is better. "Hey Kenny!" He called out. I noticed two of his guys had a girl with them.

They came closer and I recognized the girl. It was Ana. "That's Ana!" I shouted to them. I raced over to Skinner and his guys. Ana was crying and she looked like she had a cut on her lip.

"Get the fuck off my girlfriend!" I shouted. I was fuming. I felt like killing someone.

"Oh Jacob. You should've stayed single. Pretty girls like her don't need to be with dumb asses like you." Skinner says. His guys snicker.

"Get off of her." I shout and punch one of the guys in the face. They let her go and she falls to the floor.

I kick the guy over and over until blood was rushing from the cut about his eyebrow.

"Stop Jacob!" Ana begged. I stopped and looked at my guys fighting Skinner and the other guys. We heard sirens blaring nearby. I knew it was time to break. I picked Ana up and grabbed her hand before all of us broke into sprints.

We kept running until we got to a nearby abandoned building. When we got there, I took Ana to the roof to apologize. She had tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Ana I-" she cuts me off.

"Save it. I told u to keep me out of this. I knew this was a mistake. I knew you weren't safe." She shouts in my face. I felt a hole form in my heart. I never felt this strongly about a girl, ever. This wasn't what I wanted to fucking hear right now.

"What the fuck Ana! I didn't mean for this to happen." I shouted. The sting of her palm ruptured my cheek. I stood frozen without saying a word.

"Jacob I care about you. A lot. But bringing me into this SHIT isn't good for me. I'm sorry but...we should break up." She says.

"Ana please." I beg.

"I...I'm sorry. I just don't want to feel afraid." She says, tears still streaming from her eyes. I felt tears welling in my own eyes.

"I'm sorry Jacob." She kisses me softly on the lips before walking out of my life.
