Ana's POV

After a long talk including crying, hugging and apologizing, we made up. I was no longer strong enough to be mad at him. I needed him as much as he said he needed me.

"Ana would you be my girlfriend again. I promise to protect you." He says. I look down and fiddle with my fingers. Then I noticed something. I was still wearing the promise ring he gave me.

I felt the banging of my heart against my chest. I thought I might even be loud enough for him to hear. I kept the ring on. I didn't even know but I kept it on. That has to mean something right?

I look into his hurt eyes. I forget the question he asked, getting lost in his eyes. "Wh-what was the question again?" I ask.

"Will you be mine again?" He asks. I think. I've been waiting for him to ask me this for so long. I've been wanting him so bad. But my mind and heart speak for themselves.

"I-I think I should think about it. I love you Jacob, but I'm still trying to understand what's wrong with my feelings." I choke.

"Ok." He says. His face emotionless. I start feeling bad for him. But this isn't something you just say off the top of your head. Most girls would say yes. But in my situation, being as scared as I, you would hesitate as much as me.

I walk up to him and cup his cheeks. "Don't worry Jacob. It will be back to normal soon." I say. He still wears the emotionless look on his face. I kiss his lips softly. This wasn't a rough kiss. It was more passionate and sweet. We pulled away and I slipped into bed.

"Can I stay here tonight?" He asks. I think for a moment. It won't hurt.

"Okay." I say and slip into bed. He removes his shoes and without taking off his clothes, he slips into bed next to me. I wrap an arm around his torso and snuggle close to him. He wraps me into a warm hug as we cuddle before falling asleep.
