Anabella's POV

I sit in class thinking of what I should write about for the personal piece we have to write for class. I inhale the possible ideas and continue to focus on the balding teacher that stood before me.

I sigh and glance at the clock. Two more minutes left. I ran my fingers through my hair kept looking anxiously at the clock on the wall. Boy was I ready to go. Tomorrow would be no class based on my schedule and that means relaxing time!

"Class dismissed." The professor says causing a bustle of scholars to get from their seats and exit the room. I grab my things, heading outside ready to get back to my rest.

Reaching the room, I tied my hair into a messy bun and changed into some comfortable clothing before settling down in bed and relaxing. My eyelids became heavy and my breathing slowly became steady and soon enough, I fell asleep.

I woke up with Tavi laying in bed with the lamp light on and her book in hand. I look at her with a smile and quickly looked out my window. It was noon which meant I wasn't asleep for a long time.

"Phew that was a great nap." I say and roll out of bed.

"Well I didn't wanna turn the light on so I used the lamp. But since you're up, why don't u be a dear and turn on the light." Tavi says with a laugh.

I roll my eyes and switch in the light in room. I sat on my bed and sighed. I missed Jacob. I missed my friends. I missed home. I thought of it for a while but soon enough got it out my mind. I dressed and left to look for lunch. Tavi decided to stay home.

Walking and searching for the right place to eat, I finally reach the small cabana just a walk off campus. I order a strawberry smoothie and two muffins. I take a seat on a bench on campus, relaxing and thinking of Jacob.

He seems really pissed about me leaving and honestly, I'm pissed too. It's almost like I gave up.

I eat up and head back to campus, video chatting with Jacob before going to bed. He acting really weird. What if he's found my replacement? What if he's losing feelings?

I have a full debate with myself and soon am dragged from my thoughts when I spot a guy watching me and smiling. Platinum blonde hair, straight teeth, hot body, tall and handsome; whoa did God bless him.

I look down at my food and try not to make it obvious I was staring back. He ascended forward towards me causing my heart to speed up immediately.

"Hey." He says. I look up and look around. Great move Ana.

"Hi." I say and look back at my food.

"I'm Tyson." He says. I nod. "Are you gonna give me your name too?"

"Anabella. Just call me Ana." I say nonchalantly.

"Nice." He says. He obviously didn't plan this at all.

"Yea...nice." I say and take a sip of my drink.

"New?" He asks.

"Yea, you can say that." I say and pull out my phone.

"So wanna um, come to this party tonight. I mean, if you don't wanna it's okay." He says. Then I think. I always dreamed of going to a college party. Yes, a goody two shoes like me always wanted to experience it.

"I'll be there." I say. He smiles and nods.

"Pick you up." He says, writing his number on a piece of napkin. "Just call."

I nod him off and continue eating. After, I walk back to my dorm to spill my guts to Tavi.

I get ready for the party, dressed in ripped jeans and a tank top. I started feeling out of it as I continued to think of Jacob. He was the love of my life, he IS the love of my life. I never really thought that anybody would be able to get in the way of my dreams and accomplishments. But he did...

Walking down the stairs with Tavi, I feel my phone vibrating in my pocket. I take one glimpse at the phone and see a name I didn't see in a while. Jacob. I want to slide my finger to answer but hesitate as I put it to my ears. His familiar raspy, sexy voice poured through the speakers and into my ears. "Ana." he says,

"I'm so sorry Jacob, I'm so so sorry." I plead.

"Walk outside." My heart begins to race at these words. Is it what I think it is? I slowly walk outside, things running through my mind viciously. When I get outside, he's standing there, a smile on his face, his phone to his ear and a boquet of flowers in his hand.

That's when everything came to me and I began crying, so emotional to see the love of my life standing before me. I ran to him, jumping high enough for me to wrap my legs around his waist to kiss him. After pulling away for both of us to catch our breaths, I got down from him and wiped my tears.

"Hey beautiful." He says. I smile and kiss him one last time.

"I cant believe you're here." I say, trying to gather enough words to tell him how I feel. But none were coming to mind. I was just in shock to see him. He pressed his soft lips against mine before placing me down on the floor. I smiled cheekily, not sure how to control the jolt of energy piercing through my veins.

"Stop apologizing." He says, kissing my lips once more. We continue to enjoy each other's company before sitting. I tell him how my first few days had gone and how much I missed him. I had forgotten all about the party that Tyson invited me to. For now, all that mattered was being with Jacob.

"Jacob?" A soft voice from behind said. I looked over my shoulder at a girl with short curly, black hair. She had a nose piercing and was dressed in an odd way.

"Elise?" I heard Jacob said. And with those words, my heart dropped in the pit of my stomach. This cannot be real.
