"Wow." George says as we stand in front of my house."We've been best friends for nearly 3 years, so why have we never been to your house?" Fred asks, looking up at it.
"Because my house is so small compared to yours, I didn't want you guys to make fun of it." I say, realizing how stupid that sounds now.
"But you're house looks so cool, little cottage with vines creeping up the walls and fence. Ours is... shabby, and it's called the burrow." Fred replies, playing with a vine.
"You're house isn't shabby, it's loved and cozy. I like the Burrow, it's homey, the word describes your place exactly. Mine doesn't."
"Your house is named?" George asks.
"Yep, it's called Gidget Gramary." I say, looking it over. I guess it is a nice house. "And no, not granary, gramary. Which means magic."
"You're parents are muggles aren't they?" George asks, Fred elbows him in the side.
"Yes, they are. But they've known about magic since they were teens." I say as we lug our bags inside the front door.
"How?" Fred asks.
"Chelsea, is that you?" Mum's voice calls out.
"I'll tell you later." I say to them as we drop off our bags at the stairs once we enter the house and go in to the kitchen. "Right here, Mum."
"Oh, who are you?" Mum asks as she turns around. "You're not my daughter, much too beautiful- and you got your hair cut! Looks very lovely."
"Mummm." I say, giving her a squeeze.
"Aahhh, here are the boys. Come on, bring it in." She opens her arms as Fred and George give her a hug.
"Nice to see you too, Mia." George wheezes.
"Mum, you're squeezing them too hard." I say, Mum loves giving people hugs, hers are stronger than Molly's. Which is hard to believe seeing as she's as skinny as me- and that's skinny.
"Ohoh, sorry." She chuckles as she places food on the table. "Anyone hungry?"
The boys instantly sit down at the table.
"Where's Dad?" I ask as Mum serves up dinner, a nice roast chicken with veges.
"He'll be here shortly."
"Oh."
...
"And then they drop on to the victim-" Fred explains a new invention idea to us.
"Hello family." A voice calls out downstairs. My head shoots up.
"Dad." I call out, rushing down the steps, the boys slowly following. I jump on to his back.
"Hoho, you get taller every time I see you... Somethings different though." Dad says, tickling me. After much wriggling, I jump off. "Ahh, Fred, George. My boys." He extends his arms to them, they gladly hug him. Because he's awesome... And a calmer hugger than Mum.
"Dessert." Mum says as we go in to the kitchen. "Ahh, Percy." She gives him a kiss, causing me to wrinkle my nose.
"It's not that weird to watch us kiss, is it?" I whisper to Fred.
"I don't think so." He whispers back as we take our seats. Ooh, apple pie and icecream, my mouth waters just at the sight.
"So, how's the year been so far?" Dad asks.
"Pretty average, foiled some first years pranks, created inventions, many explosions... The usual really." I say, digging in to my pie.
