"God-father?" Fred sits down in shock."I can see why you two are together, same taste in expressions." Sirius chuckles, before going silent as he spots the look I'm sending him.
I face the others, attempting to stand up. "Put your wands down."
"How can you be sure he's not lying?" Heather questions.
"I can't be, but I feel I can trust him. So please, put down your wands." I push myself out of the chair as the others slowly put down their wands. Keeping a close on eye Sirius.
"Chelsea." Erin and George help me up. "What happened?"
"I'm not too sure. But if you guys want story time I'll gladly dish it out, once we go to the Infirmary Wing."
"Glad to see she's still as sarcastic as ever." Heather chuckles to Aradia.
"Heard that." I call out as Erin and George help me down the small stairway. I look back. "Can someone grab Fred?"
...
"Nothing too bad, a few broken ribs and a fractured spinal cord, but nothing a good potion can't fix." Madame Pomfrey smiles as she busies herself with the foul smelling concoction.
I feel everyone's eyes on me as I play with the bed sheet.
"Chelsea."
"Mm?" I control my fidgety hands.
"What happened?"
"Well, I saw this black dog-"
"So you had to investigate." George interrupts.
I look at him, a hidden smirk tugging at my lips. "Naturally. But when I went outside it disappeared. But the weather changed and the dementors came out... I now realise they were here for Sirius." I look over at the black dog that followed us in. "I might have dwelled in some magic that I found in a book in the forbidden section and cast a Patronus charm on the dementors..." I trail off, going back to the bed sheet.
"Wait... you cast a patronus?"
"What animal was it?"
"Was it a tiger? Lion? Hawk?" George starts listing off animals on his fingers.
"You went to the forbidden section?" Heather folds her arms, serious faced.
"Why so Sirius?" I look at her.
"She's not Sirius, he is." Fred walks over, subtly pointing to the dog. "Hey."
"Hey." I pat the bed next to me.
**Fred's POV**
I walk over and sit beside her, pulling her in to a hug. "I missed you." I whisper in to her ear.
"A week, not the worst timing compared to the other incidents." She chuckles, looking at me.
I kiss her forehead as Heather clears her throat.
"Gotta ruin all the fun?" I ask her.
"I- I just want to know how she got to the forbidden section without getting caught."
"You forget who you're talking about." Chelsea pipes in. "Borrowed an invisibility cloak off someone."
"An invisibility cloak?"
"They invent those?"
Chelsea looks over at the black dog. "You better go now. I'll write to Mum and Dad so they know you're still alive. Watch out for those dementors too."
"She's gone into mother-mode, watch out." Aerrow whispers to a snickering Lee.
The dog jumps on to the bed and licks her face, sending her in to giggles before disappearing out the large doors.
"Freddie, want a kiss?" She leans over wiping her dog slobber covered cheeks on my shoulder.
"Nice, thanks for sharing." The others laugh at us.
"Anytime, love."
"Now I guess I won't give you this back." I dangle the necklace in front of her.
"So that's how you found me. Glad to see I'm what your heart desires most." I place the necklace in her hands.
"Oh, it wasn't working properly. So I gave it to Erin and we instantly found you." I watch her face register as I slowly back away from the bed.
"Well, I always did like Erin better than you." No fun, I was hoping she'd retaliate... wait-
"Yeah you did." Erin flops down next to her and gives her a squeeze.
"Fine then, you two will be happy together!" I sniff, sitting down on an empty bed, glancing over my shoulder at the two only to see a tongue poking out of her mouth.
Madame Pomfrey gives Chelsea the potion, who gags at the smell. "Come on dear, one swig and you'll be free to leave."
"Here goes." She downs the drink, her face contorts as she swallows.
We help her up, heading towards the door as she calls over her shoulder. "See you later Madame Pomfrey."
"Not too soon I hope, dear."
"Can't guarantee anything, I hang out with those two." She points in I and my brother's direction.
"What do you think she's trying to say?" I whisper to George, heading down the hall to the Common Room.
"That you two are trouble." She calls out ahead of us.
"If by trouble you mean irresistible, then guilty is charged." Racing up, I squat down in front of her as we near the stairs. "Hop on."
"You're going to piggyback me up all these flights of stairs?" She raises a brow in my direction.
"No, I'm going to hop out of that window over there to see if I can fly- yes up all these stairs."
She hops on my back without argument as George just realizes what she said moments earlier.
"Hey, we're not trouble, all the time. And are you forgetting who the brains are to most of our troublesome events?"
