Oh look John's finally in this story again

After that...unwanted conversation I just decided to walk back home because fuck people today.

I was looking down at my phone when I ran right into someone again, god I'm a hot mess today, but they were a noticeably small size and we both tumbled to the ground,"Ah thhit thorry I wathnt paying attention" I apologize rubbing my head.

"Sollux?!" I surprised sounding male voice sounds out.

"Uh yeah? How'd you kno-" I look up and gasp staring at John.

He quickly hugs me while helping me stand,"Sorry for leaving right after all of that, you must've felt terrible, Jake and I got a big assignment, I had to go I wanted to stay here and talk to you but I couldn't a-and-"

I chuckle and put a hand over his mouth "Calm your titth Egbert I'm not mad"

John lets out an adorable squeak when I do so and honestly it makes my heart ache that I can't kiss him right now, but that wouldn't be right. He just got back and was thinking I hated him the entire time.

"Hey!" I yelp pulling my hand back. He bit me! Bit me hand,"What the fuck John?"

"You wouldn't let me talk asshole" he pouts and oh god that's even cuter making you fall silent just staring at him,"Sollux? Are you okay?" He pokes your cheek and you shake your head snapping out of it.

"Yeah I'm jutht peachy dude"

"Okay good! But anyways like I was trying to say Jake is coming back later this week, he had to stay and deal with a level three demon that was terrorizing a town and apparently I'm not strong enough for that yet"

"Thatth good" I grin softly coming up with a small plan in my brain.

"I didn't think it was that good, why such a big grin?"

"Cauthe I don't have to worry about him while I do thith" I smirk and swiftly pick him up throwing him over my shoulder making him squeal and squirm in my hold.

"SOLLUX!"

"Yeth John?" I chuckle starting to walk back to my house.

"Lemme down" he beats against my back softly and I could basically feel the pout on his face.

"No can do you're mine for today"

John's pov
I feel a dark blush spread on my face at sollux's last words. I know he doesn't mean it like that though...he just wants to spend the day with his best friend.

I give up struggling and relax in his hold deciding it was useless to do so anyways because he's probably a lot stronger than me normally without any of the vampire powers he possesses.

Instead of staring at his ass which definitely wasn't happing.. At all... I start thinking about how I still can't figure out how he hid this from Jake so well, my cousin can basically sniff out a vampire from a mile away. I know he's met Sollux before and never said anything.

"Heeeeeeeey Soooooooollux" A feminine voice calls out in front of you, well in front of Sollux. Who's that? Probably his girlfriend.

"yEAH HI SOLLUX" A stuttery male voice sounds after.

"Who's the human? I thought you didn't feed off them?"

FEED?!?! Is that all you were to him now!? A quick meal?!

Getting very frightened I start to squirm in his grasp receiving a smack to my ass.

"He'th not food. Thith ith John Vrith."

I calm down after that, head lazily rested against his back.

"That John?"

"Yeth that John"

"Oh ho ho. Where you two going then?" I can practically hear the eyebrows on that one and it makes me blush more.

"Back to my houthe to hang, you two can join if you want he'th cool with ya know."

"Sounds good, Right Tavros" a yelp sounds followed by a quiet yes.

Sollux starts to walk again, shooting up a small conversation with vris and tavros on something I don't bother listening to zoning out and definitely not starting at Sol's ass again.

After about ten minutes of walking we had gotten to Sollux's house and walked in Sollux sitting on the recliner setting me in his lap making me have to avoid blushing dark.

The other two set down on the couch and I notice them to be vampires as well...but they were different from Sollux. They had much sharper fangs, especially on the girl, and pointed ears. This is what the typical vampire looks like in all of my books but...Sollux doesn't look like that he looks like a normal human besides the fangs.

I can't help but lean into Sollux more looking at the other vampires in slight fear.

The female which you recall being called Vris must've noticed and laughs softly looking at you.

"Calm down John, we wouldn't hurt you. Even more so since Sollux seems really attached to you."

"B-But you're a vampire isn't killing humans what you do? Especially hunters?"

"Pfft that's what your little Hunter clan wants you to think about us all. Most of us don't even drink human 8lood let alone kill humans."

I blink confusedly at her, that couldn't be true. It goes against everything I've been taught.

"What reason would I have to try and kill you? You haven't done anything to me and frankly I don't want to deal with older cousin the demon murderer"

I don't say anything just sigh and look down, she did have a point.

Sollux wraps his arms around my middle making me squeak and look up at him blushing. He smirks and pecks my lips making me blush even more and look away covering my face.

"Aw c'mon John~ let me see your face"

I shake my head squirming softly.

"Fine" he sighs kissing the top of my head.

We all drift into a comfortable silence watching the tv, Vriska and Tavros elbowing each other every now and then.

"Sollux?" I say quietly not wanting to disrupt the peace.

"Hmm?"

"Why don't you look like them?" I say pointing over at the other two vampires.

"What do you mean?"

"You don't look like a vampire."

"That'th becauthe I'm not"

"What?" Now he was just confusing you, what else would he be if he wasn't a vampire? He couldn't be a demon, because to look human he'd have to be a really high level like three or four. But then again he'd change majorly when feeding and he didn't do that when I watched him.

"I'm only half vampire. I'm thtill part human"

"Oh.." Was all I said and sunk back down cuddling into his warmth, I noticed that I could feel his gentle heart beat against my back which reassured me that he was telling the truth. Demons and Vampires don't have beating hearts since they're dead mostly, like walking corpses.
